Tried these after watching this review. Review is actually really spot on. You mostly taste garlic from what I presume is garlic mashed potato, but the tomato sauce from the 'Parmi' section of the pie and the thin cheese sauce layer help break up the flavour. The pies themselves where noticeably smaller than presented in this video, or on the box for that matter. Either the angles and zoom here really did them justice or I got unlucky. The 10$ price tag for just the 2 of them makes me hesitant to purchase them again as well, but they didn't taste bad. 100% agree that I'd be more inclined to buy them if they where 5$.

I have had a regular Mrs Mack beef pie from IGA and they are bland and have some springy bits in them.....The red rooster Chicken pies are not bad and you can get them either from red rooster or IGA

Either when u get older ur taste buds go to hell but I figure that companies go by a set guide line where things can't be too salty or flavour-some due to either people will complain like no tomorrow. I say fk the other people and make it with decent salt and flavour, I like eating things with intense flavour just knowing the next bite is going to be just as yummy as the last bite and until the very last bite which from there I will normally want more. 🤷‍♂️
