Somehow I like DC25 more than Shark, but Shark has better brushroll. What is interesting in Shark is that the mini cyclones don't have separate chamber where they extract the fine dust like Dyson where fine dust goes middle of the bin. In the Shark cyclones itself collect the fine dust and they have to be emptied separately. However they take a lot of time to fill up. Problem was that people never emptied the cyclone chamber and it got clogged. Still better than modern single cyclone Sharks. Great video again!

Definite merits to both machines, but I think I'll side with Mrs. Lab on taking the DC25 over the NV22 specifically. Wonder what she'd think of the NV356 over your parents' house. Also, I'm not sure if the NV22 counts as the first modern Shark. Besides the Euro-Pro-era machines, I think the Shark Infinity NV31 would count since it used a version of the Shark multi-cyclone system.
