The pickles look great! I would use a pickle packer which I do with a lot of things I can, nor just pickles. I love the steam canner so much lighter than the boiling water canner. TFS 👏👍🥰

Back in 2020, when I started canning, my OWN garden had a bumper crop of cucumbes, zucchini and yellow squash. I made dill pickles, and bread and butter pickles from everything that was harvested. Absolutely delicious and easy with Mrs Wages mixes.

Linda, slicing those pickles is so much easier with an adjustable mandolin! That’s what I use when making pickles, and it goes so much quicker! I love using Mrs. Wages pickling spices.

Bread and butter pickles are amazing and when my Son comes to visit he always takes home several of my canned jars of these pickles plus lots of my other canned meals. It is so wonderful providing for my family in this way. Mrs wages makes this process a little easier and everyone loves them.

That sounds like how my grandmother made them. Tubs and crocks all around the house filled with cucumbers onion slices,spices and ice. My sister and I took turns being on "Ice Patrol", letting my grandfather know when more ice was needed and the pan/crock needed draining. It was a several-day event, but well worth it.
