Here are the 10 structural elements expanded upon in this video. Good luck to those of you who have this exam tomorrow!! 1- long and short sentences 2- long and shot paragraphs 3- zooming in and out 4- shift in focus 5- new character, setting, focus, time, etc 6- dialogue 7- list (4+ words or phrases) 8- foreshadowing 9- cyclical structure 10- juxtaposition, repetition, pathetic fallacy +

Hi Mr Salles, For the Mr fisher extract could you discuss how the introduction of a new character, Tibbet a young character contrasts the age of Mr Fisher and so by demonstrating his willingness to captivatingly write the writer perhaps creates an atmosphere of hope in the story in regards to literature to foreshadow to readers how by seeing this quality of writing in younger generations, Mr Fisher may regain his enthusiasm for teaching books, so that readers are to feel much more opportunistic towards the characterisation of Mr Fisher? I struggle with structure, so would this be ok?
