It’s funny I listen to your videos as I play FS and a new bug just started for me as you were talking about people being frustrated. I am at 300 hours on this map and today my fields instantly became snow covered in June on a sunny day. The immersion is completely gone and I am beyond frustrated. This is definitely not a mod conflict because I haven’t added any new mods (nothing I use has came out yet). This is I think my last straw and I am going back to 22 until this crap game is fixed.

I stopped playing for an entire month. Turned the game on yesterday and within 10 mins of doing grass work it crashed. Reset game and made it 12 minutes and crashed again. It's so frustrating.

Always love the videos. Yeah it’s very frustrating with all the problems and we are almost three months in. For me personally Xbox series X is working significantly better than before. Still crashes once in a while when in the store but nothing like it was. Always save before entering the store and especially if you want to customize equipment 😂

@MrSealyP I think KZbinrs, yourself included Mr P, get a lot of the feedback, be it good or bad, giants themselves have had very little contact with the general player base. They went silent when the stuff started to hit the fan, which left only KZbinrs to take the brunt of the angry mob. Also the fact that giants will actually listen to you and your feedback, were as a common player like myself would have to wait on hold for a very, very long time before being heard about grievances. Unfortunately this also means that even if people put in a bug report, it is also easier to leave a comment on KZbin spewing angry or unnecessary messages, jumping through hoops to report bugs is not an ideal way to get feedback. Most modern day software has a function to send a message directly after a crash, which might be a good implementation for giants in the future, especially seeing the number of crashes people are reporting. All said and done Mr P nobody holds you responsible for giants mess. Have a great day/evening.

TLDR: Harvester entire field before delivering all of the crop, you could end up leaving valuable crop unharvested. 29:26 Project complete, plus harvest income. That's one thing to be careful about. If you deliver all the crop before harvesting the entire field, the contract will be completed and you will be left with unharvested crop. That unharvested crop is bonus crop that you don't get to keep because you lost access to the field. I think it was VF, he ended up leaving a significant amount of crop in the field because he overestimated how much he needed to deliver while still having crop in the ground. This isn't the actual number, but let's say he thought he needed to deliver 10,000 more liters, so he delivered only 7,000 liters. Surprise surprise, contract complete. He lost access to the field and couldn't harvest four rows. I'm not sure what happened but he was off with his estimate.

All the bugs are why I chose to start a "no mod" series (and because there weren't any mods). But I figured it would be safer and less 'crashy' if I do that. Now that we have decent mods, I'm really wanting to give them a try BUT I don't want to corrupt my game haha!

That would be fine but the selection is just so limited on the base game. I find it’s easier just to go back to 22 where everything works and I can play with my mods

I would have done the spinach contracts the other way around. I do the one without the borrowed equipment first, and then the one I borrowed the stuff for. Just so I don't mess up and collect the wrong one first. Your manure heap isn't saying it is connected. Are you using a heap (silo) or an extension? Might try the base game manure heap (under silos) seems to be staying connected since the patch. (Atleast on Calsdem, but I haven't got any cows yet, still waiting on silage to ferment).

The way giants are working right now is like they try and put in the effort but can’t be bothered. They fired a few members of there staff, and they let some go. Lars lisertan who was the community manager. Was let go. I dunno why, but he was good. This new community manager whoever he is. Isn’t that great. I feel I don’t know much about him. I’ve seen him getting interviewed with A few KZbinrs. But I don’t think he’s upto scratch. I haven’t played farming simulator 25 in almost 2 months. Because of the lack of mods and the glitches and texture glitches. They need to work with another company or third party developer, if they want to succeed and continue making Farming games. That’s the only way forward. Giants doing it alone, was a bad move I believe. They’re currently like 2K in 2020 when they tried to do something alone. But failed drastically. and led to 2K20 being failed.

The best way to play 25. Game freezes so I have to start again I’m not even going to make the flour mill or the temple. I have got to say . Sell a whole game and don’t release it till it is fixed… Giants love ripping people off…

Nice. That’s the thing tho. Modders can make / tweak equipment & vehicles to be unrealistic. All they have to do is either include the unrealistic versions in some cases or just add an option to use it unrealistic capacities, speed ect, But those whom don’t like the unrealistic side don’t have to use it. Give players the option. Especially on console.

The game still gives you a decent amount of bonus yield if you do half decent size field. Of course you're not gonna get much when the contract only pays $3-4K. I've got close to 10K liters leftover on some of the bigger fields. I guess probably not as good as '22 but still not bad. The problem is that Riverbend doesn't really have any really large fields to get much bonus yield off any crops.

I think some of the anger felt by folk is because there is no apology from Giants - in fact, NOTHING from Giants (as if they have your money and don't give a hoots!)!

Delivery jobs on Calmsden is a real hit and miss. On RB Spring it works much better it also depends where you have to deliver, looping on Hutan Pantai and RB Spring it is also a hit and miss. I've also noticed when I have finished a contract the same contract pops up again. On Calmsden I don't mind as I usually take the high paying ones and by that financing my new gear.😁

I still haven't experienced any crashes/glitches or bugs since the update so I must be one of the lucky ones. But regarding Giants and their direction as well as VR I still think with this being its core money maker they should be fully prioritising on fixing the bugs/issues the customer base is experiencing as well as working on improving the gameplay aspect. Like more vehicle game updates and QOL improvements. I'm not a fan of VR and not see the point of it really but in saying that I know their is a following for it and can understand the implementation of it into their main game at some point. Although I think the way the did it is a smart move as it can be a testing ground to see the reaction and feedback from the players prior to doing so. I like how you can be more depth immersion wise undoing wheel nuts and pulling wheels off etc. I hope that can be incorporated into the next version of FS to say so. Though I think having track IR would be a better solution at this stage for console players imo.

The game is playable. Nothing more and nothing less. It doesn't run very well with the graffics in the fields most of the time. This is the last farm sim i bought. Im done with this franchise. Fs 17 is still the best, specially the sound of the machines

I've been putting off getting any cows or buffalo because of the manure problem. One of the main reasons I get them is for the manure and slurry for fertilizing my own fields. It would be nice to get actual confirmation if it's fixed or not before I waste my time setting it up. Half the people say it is and the other half says it isn't. So what is it? Lol

Sofar the manureheap works but I use a mod FS25_SmallManureStorage which is only available for PC regretfully. The manure heap extension should work fine with the cowsheds in basegame even after a gamesave. I'll test it on a copy of RB Spring and if I don't forget give my findings.

As far as I can tell patch 1.5.0.0 did indeed fix the problem from the testing that I did then the next patch they released the day after 1.5.0.1 to fix the issues the first patch made then broke the fix and now it's not working again, another game is in a worse condition than it was before with even more problems

@@SimSheriff I just started a new map 5 minutes ago and tested it multiple times by saving, quitting and reloading 3-4 times and the base game manure heap extension is working just fine. Also tested the slurry extension for something to do and it is fine also.

Another great esipode. Just to let you know when doing bailing contracts with lizard pickup header mod you can sell the straw during the contract if trailer fills up. Also ive had 2 game crashes on ps5 since update ive turned off performance mod on my ps5 and it seems to work for now no game crashes. Also could you do a video on how many ai workers you can have working at once please

Played the game for the first time since the update yesterday on PS5. The game crashed 3 times in 10 minutes the last time was as soon as the game play started. The game is literally unplayable for me. So frustrating...

For me the manueheap extension is connected to cowbarn/shed and sofar it works even after several savegames.

PC version is hopeless after last patch. Lots of people can't play the game at all due to instant crashes, continuous crashes during 99% load of game (shader compiling), crashes during gameplay etc. AI is broken in the way it will NOT be told what to do or want work at all. People have save and graphics issues. My game runs ok, no crashes, AI is borked of course but at least we got Courseplay. It's painfully obvious Giants do not have any QA at all and barely any testers. They even let Game breaking MODs through the "approval".

MrS if mods drop while you're streaming, why not look at them while streaming. Maybe people in your discord could look at new mods themselves while watching the stream. Like an interactive mod review. Could be a lot of fun ........ could be horrible

I have found that the AI workers have issues with articulated trailers and crab steering as well as tight corners and routes with bridges and multiple splitting nodes.

Rule of thumb keep it simple. I never expected crab steering to work for AI as that is asking to much at the moment even for the GIANTS devs. AI is still in its infancy and only gets better over time but crab steering you can forget as that is asking to much.

Experienced two crashes on PS5 since the game dropped. I notice a little bit of flickering behind vehicles even after the latest update. Doesnt make the game unplayable however. 😊

I went and did the clear the cache on my ps5 and rebuilding the database. It was freezing on me when I was in cab, but that seems to fix it most of the time.

Regarding the weeds you got in field. The contracts is weird in fs25. I have done weeding contracts and still in the field accepting the money the weeds comes back. I did a ploughing contract on one field on RBS it was harvested and full of weeds then starting the contract. The accepting the money. The field had plowed textures but full of full-grown weeds and the field still needed ploughing so it's very wierd. Be aware of accepting several contracts for the same crops to the same delivery point. If you're unlucky and the first fields crop goes to the second fields delivery you can't harvest the second field

I think it was Virtual Farmer who tests his contracts before committing to a full on crop delivery. He took multiple same crop, same sale point contracts and starts harvesting a field. He then took a sample amount (1000L) to the sale point to see which contract was being credited. He could then adjust his harvest order as required.

I think AI deliveries and whatnot for me works reasonably well but it takes time to find what works and what not. AI goto to the start farm does work but you have to put the marker on that sort of large blueish square. I use omatana's wooden silo and sofar that works with delivery/unloading but my suggestion is not to do looping.

It’s funny but sequels seem to suffer more than new games. I think it’s because expectations are so much higher since we already know how the game is. Because I lay three games that have had sequels in the past year and all of them are getting the same broken/unplayable complaints. And also the developers try to add so much new stuff to the game and get out as quickly as possible so they don’t lose the interest of the players.

The olives went from $130 to $30 so they are dirt cheap now and Giants said they doubled the yield you get from grapes and olives now, so it should definitely be worth getting a huge olive grove on the go. I have one that I set up the day before they reduced the price that cost me half a million, go figure, but I haven't harvested them yet so I can't confirm myself what the yield is like. As far as FSVR Mechanic goes, I wouldn't play it if it was free. It looks cheesy as hell. Easy pass.

I will say this, just being honest... But FS25 has been disappointing... so far. Time for some really good Mod maps, because what we actually got from Giants is kinda... Meh. Bland. Especially Zielonka... What an absolute bland map is that? And Giants actually sold that map as DLC a year ago? Really bland, really weak map. The balls to ask money for that is ...! "No mods" kinda makes you realize how little Giants actually brings... Giants has ALOT to thank modders for. But it hampers them as a studio, because they clearly count on modders to make their game into what Giants themselves apparently can't. No modders = Giants goes bankrupt.

Yes I use the government subsidy to start me off because I want to start running it as a proper farm from the get go farming how I want to farm. No spending my life building it up slowly After 12 years playing android calmsden blew my mind so I wanted to go all in I played on the frontier map whilst I was awaiting calmsden and started with the government subsidy only I forgot to turn it off and went to sleep about 4 times ended up with £300 million In the bank 😂😂😂😂 Do you know if the new Dewalf for carrots, Parsnips and red Beet works with AI ?

What a negative comments section today, I want to try to be positive... I haven't had a great deal of time to play, but so far it mostly works pretty well for me. There was something funny with the chainsaw last night but it seemed to have sorted itself out before I finished. I think the game looks stunning, and I have no regrets over buying it. Of course, I may have a skewed frame of reference, I mostly play Ark Survival Ascended, which 15 months after release still has a number of day 1 bugs unsolved, the devs still haven't figured out how to make the game work properly with DLSS but enabled it by default in the latest update breaking things for a lot of nvidia users. Based on what I see from Studio Wildcard, Giants really are not doing that badly, the game was more playable on day 1 than Ark was after several months. Yesterday I had to log in and rebuild an automated farm because I noticed in the extensive patch notes (180 GB patch) that they had 'fixed' an object introduced to the game last March being placable on certain structures they hadn't intended it to be placed on, no warning, they just dropped the patch and any instance of the object where it shouldn't be got deleted forever, I've never had Giants do that to me. VR - not for me. Do head or eye trackers work with console? I use an open source head/eye tracker which is kind of a cross between IR track and Tobii and obviously needs a PC to run, just wondering if IR track or Tobii can work on consoles. Everything you want from VR in the cab, ability to look left and right, lean forward, lean sideways to get a better view in the mirrors, all of that can be achieved on PC with a head and/or eye tracker and simply enabling the head tracking option in FS25 (and FS22). I won't play without it now, but I don't think full VR is needed or even desirable.

The silo works until you save, then it stops. It is meant to work, so if it doesn't, that's a bug. Ironically, we had a similar bug on 22 on launch. Giants are just incompetent at this stage.

@ on Calmsden the silo heap does what mr Sealy P is experiencing but the extension silo seems to work even closing and returning to the save. And when 1.5 came out I tested the extension on HP and it worked at last but I’ve not checked since 1.5.01

Funny you mention Destiny 2, farming will be repetitive because most of the time you will be doing the same thing day in and day out but just like Destiny 2 there are no real improvements and the improvements they have made don’t fucking work properly,it’s just the same old shit and the same lame excuses. I uninstalled D2 the other day, not getting another penny out of me and I reckon I will be going the same way with FS25. The sooner people wake up to these terrible companies and stop throwing money at them for pre orders the better

What giants needs to do is make the game more fixable by the player because I hate that the mobile game has gone so far down hill since fs18 if I could make the workers work better the game would be worth the little that it cost but when I have to drive to finish fields and drive to make drivers finish the loop of load and unload makes me hate giant but when game makers that make mods instead of a game because every map maker is a game maker not just a mod maker as I see it
