Your dedication to gold mining is bar none! You moved a serious amount of earth in your first season. Couple of things for you: You've had a bit of a leg up buying the parcel for $1 (Normally one would have to rent it and pay 30% gold royalties) I was hoping to catch you in time but I think by advancing to spring with your wash plant still in place, you may have broken all the parts. I don't know for sure, maybe they have changed that. Workers: I don't think it is possible any more to have your workers operate independently. They did previously but, now I believe they just add to the production of your wash plant. The best part about having a full crew (a worker for each piece of the wash plant) is they will do clean-outs for you. They swap buckets and mosses once they fill, allowing you to do multiple runs in one go before having to process the gold. Keep up the good work! I watch your channel religiously and direct my gaming buddies to it as well. You've inspired me to start playing Gold Rush again and I've been playing along with you over the past couple of weeks.

When you transport the new component, transport the old one back to storage. Saves mucking about with hooking up the old equipment and disconnecting pipes etc.

love the vid, thanks a heap. at 31:45 you mentioned the water tower still full. that's because you have water pressure setting turned off in options. so tank has infinite water once repaired. turn setting on to start using water up :)

If you move to a new parcel, I don't think there is any use to keep the wash plant active on the old one. You cannot let workers do the work so you cant run 2 sites at the same time anyways.

Yeah I was going to say the same thing, so it's best to sell off all your old items to get more cash as the next parcel is about 1.6mil to buy, oh when moving rhe sluces no need to remove mats or grille bars they can just stay put when moving

Time for another Pro Tip: Chains - move the bucket over (or next to, for tall equipment) the item to be moved and low enough to be reached from the ground. Then go and clip the chains to the hooks of both the bucket and the item at the same time. If you have a hanging chain issue and you cannot find the dangling end, disconnect it from the bucket and reconnect immediately. The free end will be back in your hand. Good luck.

All your wash plant gear will break if left out in permafrost! Remove all the parts and store them in the green shed, that way you don’t have to set up again! Loving the series mate keep it up and keep them coming!

In winter you should definitely do your cleanup/smelting/selling and buying at night time and only run your equipment in the day. This should save on repairs. Also the wash plant parts are almost half price at the end of winter compared to summer. Glacier creek for me is over a million. Great content as usual MrSealyP

You can also park vehicles+trailers on the fast travel locations. It will move all items but have to re-hook trailer at destination

Isn't it any normal winter physics in this game? Fighting fires in cold Sweden you have to change methods to use hoses. Leave water running - no freeze. Empty hoses when not using them -no freeze. Cover your hoses with insulating material or sand or of course dig them down in ground if you can do it before ground freezes solid down to 1.5 meter. (Reduce flow with valve after pump and produce warm water by friction. Costs "only" extra diesel fuel!) If not doing so; order a full length timber trailer and bring hoses back home to fire station stiff as telephone poles or leave then until spring! Haha!

Don't use the lower tier equipment on other parcels, you loose a lot of gold eventhough it doesn't look like it, since the yield per m² is a lot better. i know it's a lot of work but it's better to move your entire operation once you move to a new claim

U were wanting to upgrade the time it takes to smelt, but increasing the size of the bars is essentially the same because you can make a bar four times the size in the same amount of time. Great video hope to see u continue this series.

U need 2 hog pan workers assigned, 2 duplex jig workers assigned, and the slucebox worker assigned. Each of these u can add more mats/buckets so each level they gain they will automatically swap out all ur mats and clean out ur grates for u, saves so much time, u can see the spare slots for the mats on the side of ur duplex jigs and hog pans. All workers upgraded u can do 3 full clean outs before doing a wash 👌🏻🤓

For the fast travel points, don't use the right stick - use the left stick to move the circle onscreen, it confused me for a while as couldn't select the travel point under the circle when using the right stick to place it.. Also, if you are in a vehicle and select a fast travel point then you will take the vehicle with you (and trailer if one is attached - although it is no longer attached when you arrive). When connecting the cables to move equipment, connect to the equipment first then walk and place all four in one spot, lower the bucket over that spot and connect all four in one place - easier and quicker. Your figures were very different to mine at the end of season 1 - the main diff being the gold per cubic metre ... your open pit mining technique is not the most efficient. Might be time to do some drilling and targeted extracting (for which you may need the excavator). One thing for you to look forward to - the workers that change out the mats/mosses and the one that does the grates are an absolute must! 🙂 Loving the series - please keep it going. I am learning a lot from the way you do things, then adapting and refining (no pun intended) the processes to optimise for my play style.

When using chains, if attached at one end and it loses other - un-attach the attached end again, then re-attach it leaves it coiled for you to move with end to attach. Hope this helps.

One thing I'm still not clear on and cannot find a definitive answer on: Does gold wash away if you keep the water running or not? Currently I fill the hopper and the dumptruck. Run a cycle and repeat until 100%. But I wonder if I could just let things run while I fill the truck again.

It doesn’t wash away. I’m real life it does if you don’t keep dirt moving but the game is not set up that way. The only thing you lose by keeping the plant running is gas for the generator.

If you put the on the bucket an u cant get the ends grab hook on bucket again. Then connect back an now you have your end back.

MrSealyp, Running water won’t freeze so once running no problems but if stopping for awhile and restarting, then pipes will be frozen. I presume this is what’s happening in game..

Mr sealyp If you have a sluice box worker you can put more mats placing on each side the wil replace them for clean mats and store the gold mats in the rack

Every square has a different amount of gold in it. You’ll never get the same run every time I.e 2000gms every 100% great content as always

Funniest thing in the video. Sealy see’s 450,000 and says OH MAMA. Magnetite usually tells you how good you’ve done but sometimes depending where the buckets are from on the plant there is less. The mats usually don’t have as much magnetite as the shoveled bucket of dirt from the sluice box

Drill is a fantastic way of grinding nuggets. If you drill all the area on Old Arnold Parcel you could get around 17 kg of nuggets which gives a head start to the game. You should give it try?

Hi there it is better if you sell your teir 3 equipment after you replace with the upgraded equipment as the higher teir equipment is better and you can earn extra money with old equipment

You really need to get the amount smelted upgrade the first upgrade increases your amount smelted by 4x

Well you have done your first season of gold rush, started with a hogpan and bucket, moved up through the year until you reached tier4, so is this the end of goldminer paul or is there going to be a new season first buying the next parcel for 1.6mil, then drilling to find good gold before moving the whole plant over to do tier 5 equipment, so it's stay tunned for maybe another episode of goldminer paul 😂

I've somehow stumbled across this game and then found this video series when I was looking for more information. It's been very entertaining, thank you! Also, I've bought the game after watching a couple of the episodes. It's so janky and doesn't look great. But it's also fascinating and a lot of fun. One more question: I've never played any Farming Simulator, so I wondered which of the video series on this channel is a good starting point to get some basic gameplay overview. Any suggestions?

I would recommend six ashes for a recent one that can be informative. Eureka, luca's, and rassavet are very different, though Eureka is very fast paced if your not worried about being even slightly realistic Washoe is also sticking in my mind though I don't remember why

Yeah having the gold tax for leasing is a huge game changer. Sealy was smart to buy the parcel and upgrade it for $1 so he could advance faster. I did the same, but I’ll buy my second parcel, it’s still a slow go.
