I love the review!! But within 24 hours of this map going live, it had to be withdrawn and updated. I ran into a lot of conflicts when trying to play the map. Am waiting patiently for the updated map to be released. It seemed to be a great start map for "easy" play and I really loved the wide open fields. Thanks for your time in explaining the map, I had not explored all the areas. You make it seem so easy :)

I saw where Taylor Farms replied on one of his posts that the beet piler sells the beets every hour on the hour when owned as a production

Great review MrSealyP! Though I may be just a tad biased being born and raised in the 'Big Mitten'. Like that grapes are in there are established wineries dot the upper west side of the state. 'Pure Michigan' motto on the water tower is cool. Keep up the good work 👍👍

I tried adding some fences to the farm and it kept saying there was a collision, was very frustrating, won't play until an update is added

Is it possible to move the sugar beet separator at the storage/sell point once you purchase it? Others have mentioned that hourly sells rate appear. If it is supposedly storing then you should have a option to retrieve the sugar beets. Puzzling! Great videos Mr P... I rarely miss one. I appreciate you battling through the internet issues to keep us entertained. Thank you!!!

I still remember playing on this map with my cousins back in FS19, all the roleplays we did and the stupid/funny stuff that happened on it...I'm glad someone decided to bring it back and to console also :)

Hey, they put a video on their youtube channel explaining the sugar beet piler. The piler autosales the sugarbeets on the hour. So anything you put in sales.

Yeh ok but he'd purchased it so it was a production, also the recipe stated 10,000 in 10,000 out plus the tare dirt. There was nothing under outgoing products for sugar beet?

@@James-H75 with the production part all you get back is the dirt. The beets sell after an hr, once the beets go in you cant get em back.

I understand the concept but don't see the point of it? If as the reviewers said the main crop on the map is sugar beet the why wouldn't you put it in a sugar mill to be used or sold as the sugar is worth far more than beets?

idk if anyone said this but i do belive under the the production chains at the bottom it said activate. maybe since you have not activated it, it is just throwing it out at the end and since its gone through the decorative piles of sugar beet you cannot see it?

I think the sugar beet and tare dirt machine has the symbols mixed up on it, because you put the sugar beet in to get the tare dirt out, it doesn't give you back the sugar beets. At least it's that way on Frankenmuth.

From my opinion, the sugar beet stacker is just that, an easy dump point that makes the pile as high as possible, probably intended for multilayer, and would have to use a loader to remove your stored pile. I don't think it has any more purpose than that.

I had a 10 min drive around this map yesterday when I saw it on modhub, didn't spend a whole lot of time looking at anything in detail, just a cursory cruise about the expanse. I couldn't tell much difference between it and Frankenmüth. I played Frankenmüth for a short bit, didn't care for the lack of landscaping (I've fallen in love with those that put an insane amount of detail in their maps, you know the ones I'm referring too. They're typically smaller in size but have a high storage usage) As a former over the road trucker, I've been thru 46 of our 50 United States here in America. (Not been to Alaska, Maine, Florida or Hawaii) I've not spent a lot of time in Michigan, but I don't recall there being big pine trees. You get Maple and oak trees, but I don't think the evergreens are in big supply, nor that large. BUT I could be wrong as it's been at least 10 years since I've been there. But, Michigan farmland is a flat as a milled plank. You'll get some hills, but not much. (I live in PNW, outside of Seattle. To my east I have the Cascade mountain range, to my west are the Olympics. Not the biggest mountains, but still mountains. Then we have the foothills, which are at least a small as 1/10th the size of a mountain here, but 10x bigger than the rolling hills in the Great plains. The folks in the northern plains have referred to their cute little hills as "mountains", which I have always found humorous) I like how we're given a good amount of space on each farm, with big buildings. But the farmyards leave a lot to be desired in the scenic front. I might still play it, cuz it does have big herkin fields which I like. They should be worker friendly I would imagine. Which brings up my next question: how well do the goldfish navigate the map? I've gotten used to not relying on them much on the maps I've come to prefer, which are highly detailed with a lot of stuff in the way and curvy roads. But a map like this they SHOULD be able to go anywhere and everywhere without any issue at all.. So, after my cursory glance yesterday I'd have rated this map a 6 or 7 out of 10. After this superb map tour and educational ride with the great MrSealyP, I'd bump up it to a 7 or 8 maybe. But that's just my own opinion, which is worthless to anyone beyond myself. Maybe I'll play it later and find that I love it. If this is the map creators first creation, or first couple of creations, then they did a superb job. Far better than I could ever do. But I think this creator has been thru a number of rodeos before. Just wish there was more visual detail is all. Side note, we get all this great John Deere equipment, some of the biggest and baddest. But then we get a Case IH combine harvester? That was a little confusing, but hey, I can always trade it out for the X9 right? Thanks for the ride MrSealyP. Very much appreciate your time and eye for detail. I searched for the last collectible in the center of the map for an hour. A friend of mine also couldn’t find it. It seems to be inside or under the screened in porch on the other side of the street from the big central farm.

Map looks decent enough, but the jump ramp is just stupid that’s got to go if we can alter the terrain, I think the ditches will become AI traps like other maps with ditches 😂 last gripe the farms look so bare and vast (not a fan of minimalist farms) already hoping for an update.

I suspect that might be a glitch in the map as it appears to a road leading to a house.... otherwise as you said it makes no sense at all..... ??!

The ditches are a killer, took me a long time to get used to them on Frankenmuth. I've found doubling the headlands before setting the AI worker off helps stop them getting stuck

You cannot build a fence anywhere on this map (Xbox). While this map deserves to be rated 5/5 because of the deficiencies I have to rate it 1/5. A.) No man door on a barn. B.) Can not build fences. C.) Can not buy Roads. I really liked this map until I bought the bio-gas plant.
