Beautiful. Even though I wasn’t really into any ships, I did think Allura would either end up with Keith like in the original or Shiro due to how close they seemed. Over time I began to think that Keith could be with Lance due to their evolving relationship. Shiro marrying Curtis & Allura being with Lance really didn’t make a lotta sense to me.

I feel like if this show could've aired after she ra, we'd have a bigger chance for Klance to exist. Dreamworks has always been on a road to lgbt representation in their movies and shows, so Klance being canon could've totally been possible- I just worry it was due to the time the series came out. We got Shiro canon as gay at least, but that was touched on so little, and his love interest was totally killed off. Klance could've still been a finale couple built on in the last season or two (they start as friends with rivalry but get much closer and friendlier about each other as seasons go by). For goodness sakes, I'm mad that fans attacked the people behind this show because of this ship though. They didn't help at all, and it was a total show of* disrespect towards the people who worked on this. I can only imagine it made them strive away from Klance fuel even more tbh. So...imo, this ship could have been reality. But the time of airing and the awful treatment done by fans definitely didn't help :/

I stick to my gun of that Klance would have been better. Especially since it would have been more natural than Shiro's sudden lover popping up in flashbacks (and being deceicd) and they could have written a beatufull story about that love doesnt always go the way you think. I would have loved it if Lance started dating Keith (them exploring their feelings for one another) and then Allura is betrayed by our not so favorite prince, and Lance is there as a friend. When she realises feelings for him after the betrayal and then Lance stays with Keith. I smell the possible drama they could have written there.

I both ship them and also think they're great as just friends. (Please don't hate me for this! 😣) I just think that friendship is a pretty underrated form of love, since media is sorta overflowing with romantic love. But at the same time, I do seriously wish that they got together. They have great chemistry, trust and rely on each other so much, and are even willing to hurt themselves for each other (though I feel like that's more on Lance's side lol, Keith does it mostly for the team XD).
