EXCELLENT VIDEO. I have to thank you for putting the time in on this video. I am immersed in learning how to sell on Amazon. Years ago, I sold on Ebay (loved it), then life happened, things changed for me. But now I'm back in the game ready for something new. My dad flipped old school- brick and mortar store. I was the little girl at the auctions etc., so its in my blood. Such a great video. Love that you're also teaching your son what is possible! Keep the vids coming.

I keep watching videos talking about the deals at Big Lots. They used to be liquidation stores but the ones in our area have redesigned and now are more expensive than other stores. I used to shop at Big Lots all the time but prices are too high now. Are your Big Lot stores still selling at liquidation prices?

We've found prices tend to be the same across all of the Big Lots locations. They are higher than a "true liquidation" but still discounted. And if the items are hard to find, then it really helps.

@@TheSellingFamily I am an ebay seller who uses thrift and auctions to source. Ive been looking to move to retail arbitrage by this time next winter. Ive been watching videos of yours and other RA experts on youtube and have a great sense of startup , software involved , shipping , sourcing at a retail setting etc. However pinpointing items like this and finding your niche sku or "big money sku" seems to be the toughest part. Even finding videos on how to go about figuring these things out on your own can be tough to find. Im not looking for anything for free , but one of the youtube RA guys should do an indepth video about how to come to these conclusions on your own.

We scan everything with our Amazon seller app. It will tell you current selling price and will allow you to calculate profit after fees and shipping at the current sales price.

Nate Dzimiera Nate when we scanned it with the Amazon app and researched on Keepa. It shows us what it currently is selling for and has been selling for. Takes the guessing work out of it!

From our experience, they are stand-alone stores. They purchase bulk truckloads of products from major retailers for cheap.

good question. When you divide revenue by 76, average selling price should be $66 instead of $54. They should have sold some items before dropping the price point. But i too can't make up the numbers in my head. Profitable product for sure but data doesn't look like completely accurate.
