I don't think this has bad production, I think you just need to get used to the new sound a bit more, plus you should listen to it loud. It will blow you away just how epic it is. Especially Peter's bass.

Yes, Motley was influenced by Hanoi, but also the New York Dolls, Aerosmith, KISS, and many others. The KISS influence was heavily apparent when Shout at the Devil rolled around, although Nikki says he was much more influenced by their music. But Motley put it all together and made it their own. So what's the problem? You missed my point.

@RezzaRoxx Sister (with Blackie Lawless) first used the pentagram. Nikki Sixx was in that band in 1978 for about 5 minutes. Sister didn't gig much. When Nikki left, he asked if he could use the pentagram, and Blackie said yes & went on to form W.A.S.P., & Nikki & Motley Crüe used the pentagram b4 anyone. On the KICKDRUM, it's too trademark Crüe, IMO!
