I love Serious Trivia's expositions but I prefer Donkey's play. It just feels more "pure" to me. SeriousTrivia is really not afraid to go totally unthematic and abuse the hell out of the game. Like when he did his Liu Chong guide and the guide was about blitzkrieging Cao Cao's lands! xD

That's also how I feel. I love all the lore serioustrivia provides but I prefer the lesser cheese that donkey's play through has. That said it is impressive when serioustrivia has like 50k income with 99 full armies out

Serioustrivia is, for me, to Total War as Arumba is to EU4. That's why I like them both :)

My chess master in primary school took me into a bathroom when I was 10, during a tournament. One of the good things about Cao Cao's start is the high amount of satisfaction you can get easily. Take the Pengcheng temple and make lady bian your heir (Cao Pi is still a kid he wont mind) and you can get a huge chunk of satisfaction relatively early in the game.

Interesting I'm going to ne doing the coop campaign but I don't like the play as AI option being even available. 😕 hope they have multi-player options and or settings. How come your settings and game runs sooo smooth. Mine doesn't haha Can you both play as the same faction? Like both play Cao Cao as the same team
