I love love the L'oreal panorama mascara. I have heard so many positive comments about Tower 28 concealer, I will definitely try it. Right now I am loving the Natasha Denona high glam concealer but more expensive. Thanks for the recommendation.

i really found rare beauty blushes this year. love elf lip liners. sky high mascara still my favorite. rare beauty highlighter. i have not found my favorite palette. love physician formula butter bronzer. bought quite a bit of hour glass products.. but i found they lean orange. and im told im warm toned but .. i mean too orange. want to like charlotte tilbury but have not found anything im impressed with. i like natasha denona eye shadow but others are just as good for less.

Yes. It's like tinted or shimmery sheer powders.

Personally I wouldn’t call it a finishing powder because to me that implies it’s to be used all over the lid, which of course you can do! But and I could be wrong, I think most of the time when toppers are discussed they are the ones that have a bit of shimmer or some can be a full glitter, anyway might point is they are used just applied with your finger tip and used in the middle of your lower lid. Right above your iris and mostly about the size of your iris and depending on your preference you can blend the edges out across the lid. Usually the point of this, aside from looking beautiful, is that it bounces light off it and helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines or in my case the crepey texture. I hope that I’m right, that you can understand my description And it helped? 😊

if u ever get a chance to teach us how to pair moisturizer with primer with foundation so that they all work together, id love it. people say water based works with water based. oil based works with oil... i guess maybe this info is hiding in the ingredients if i peal back something or keep the box or... id like to buy a good drugstore moisturizer, primer to make up not pill or blotch and then a foundation. i definitely know my bare minerals powder foundation works with very few products. boys i wish you could buy the moisturizer, primer and foundation all in a set!

Most foundations & primers have dimethicone in them. Depending on if your dry, my favorite moisturizer is the Naturium Glow w/ spf. Dimethicone seems to work great with it.

I love Colorpop eyeshadow mainly because of the colors and the way they blend. But I can't wear them it makes my nose run like crazy. I'm allergic to quite a bit of makeup and I just can't find eyeshadow pallets that are as beautiful as Colorpops for the same price or less. Do you have any ideas

Oh Melissa - you are the lucky one- I tried the Chanel Les Beiges a couple of years ago and it was awful!! Literally like putting watery gel on my fave with a few streaky areas of very little pigment. I was heartbroken - I wanted it to work on my semi dry 50 year old skin so bad … but alas it was not meant to be.

I you should try the Beauty of Joseon eye product. I can’t remember its correct name. Melissa has talked about it a few times and I believe quite recently. She loves and says that it has really helped smooth out her eyelids, which to me implies they are getting moisturised? Anyway I bought it and have started using and I really like it too. I can’t wait to get the results Melissa has However for that to happen I need to get as consistent as Melissa is! 😂 EDITED To say that I found the video that she “recently” talked about that the eye product, And it is in the video she pointed to for the best skin of 2024. I was right, she did talk about it only recently 😂😂😂

All the doll 10 shades look yellow. On their website, all tones have the word beige. Too yellow for me. Just like Elf products. I have borrowed Doll 10 foundation and it is fabulous, but their colors are not for fair skin.

I know you like the luminescence of some products and I love your makeup techniques but the skin above your marionette lines stands out and looks like white lines on the camera. Personally I think folks are carrying the glowy look too far. It looks greasy.
