The most un-feminist thing you can do is to tear down other women for how they choose to live their lives. I'm an unmarried feminist woman in a high-powered career and I still absolutely love your videos because it sends such a powerful message of accepting and respecting women of all different lifestyles while bringing power back to the word "feminine." I am not empowered by pretending to be masculine; I'm empowered hearing that the traits associated with my gender are valuable and worthy of respect! For what it's worth, that other content creator seemed to be really off base with a lot of her statements. As a person who considers herself a feminist, I initially watched Jacylnn’s video without the context from your video and found myself agreeing. But in honesty, after watching several of your videos including ones she mentioned, I can say she put it out of context for sure. I completely respect and in many ways admire your courage, confidence, and perspective. I hope you also admire some traits that are portrayed as “masculine women” in media these days. It stems off of the traditional way women have been portrayed in the past, and I think feminists are trying to deviate from that, becoming equal to men, interpreted as becoming more masculine. So I think you do, but If not i hope you see why many women these days emphasize women power, and how they can do just as well as men in different realms of society! Again, I completely respect and love your view and think it’s not wrong. Everyone can be different, express that differently. Subscribed to your channel :) Enjoyed this video!
@Jake38nine5 жыл бұрын
Women don't want to be equal to men. Women want to become men. Feminism has tried to drive out men even more from the world and society. I don't ever see Feminists speaking of Men's rights and Male suicide rates and divorce rates. It's all about women. That's not equality. Feminism is sexism. That's a fact based on the actions of the majority of feminists. Majority of feminists hate men and want to drive out men from society. That's sexism. You really can't change my mind, even if you aren't "one of those feminists". If you support feminism, you support sexism. Period. If you want to support TRUE Equality, then become an Equalist. The word itself states exactly what it represents. Whereas "feminism" represents "females" "feminine" AKA women.
@yunjikim56015 жыл бұрын
Jake38nine haha i love how you just inferred i am “one of those feminists.” I understand where you’re coming from when you say “these days, feminism seems like sexism.” I’ve seen it myself; the radical and sexist side of it. Yet I’m not sure about your gender...but as a woman in this society where men and women are perpetually discriminated, i see feminism, in its origins as a valuable contributor in society. It’s just how our society has decided to take on the word. that’s what i find unfortunate. For some reason, we hold feminism to an unreasonable standard where the movement must be everything we want and must make best choices. When feminism falls short of our expectations, we decide the problem is with feminism RATHER than people who act in the name of the movement.
@yunjikim56015 жыл бұрын
Jake38nine also, i know you won’t change your mind. i’m not asking you to. i just wish you would see not all “feminists” are radical, rude, aggressive. i’m a pretty positive person, and it did hurt to see a comment telling me things like “one of those feminists.” “That’s sexism.” cmon you don’t know me! 5 minutes in, and an early bird (finally!). I used to be subbed to Jacklyn and through the last handful of months since starting to embrace femininity and watching channels like yours, I've become more and more uninterested in her style of content. Not in shaming her, but in a way, the vibe I got off that one video that I did start to watch, and what YogiOabs covered of it, and him being more of a traditional minded man, I get the vibe that she might have some hurt in her heart that she needs to work through. I could be so wrong about it, but knowing how trauma affects and effects people, even later on in life, plus just today's day and age, where the old punk rock anger is mainstream, traditionalism and femininity pose a threat and bring out some oddly placed Cattiness. Jaclyn's video is the whole reason I found you, and that is such a blessing to me! Her video came up as a suggestion, so I watched it and really felt a connection with you. I have now spent most of my free time catching up on all of your videos! I really felt alone in my desire to be a homemaker, but watching you and discovering other women like us brings so much joy to my soul! I really needed you and your channel, so thank you!!! You have made it so much easier for me to brush off the nasty comments and stay positive.

Anything at all, cheap meals or fancy meals or what’s your favorite meal, I love to see your videos, I also want to say that I love your dog hahaha I am also a stay at home wifey and I thought I wouldn’t like it but I love it so much, everyday I clean, I do laundry, I cook for my husband and it makes me really happy!

Oliwia Exactly! You don't have to agree with everything someone says to enjoy their content. And if you don't enjoy it, move on. More and more we are becoming a society that constantly feels the need to give our opinion on everything and call people out like it's our job. It's exhausting. People are so self-righteous.

I really admire your ability to press through and not let the negativity of a naysayer consume you! That’s an area I need to grow in 🙁 I tend to spiral into doubt, questioning everything about myself and what I believe... and it’s so crippling! Thank you for showing a positive response and an example of maturity as well as not letting it alter how you do things or what you believe. I also wanted to mention I fell in LOVE with those dunes and that sunset! It is MY DREAM to live somewhere where I have a view/place like that to enjoy and escape to! Happy for you for enjoying it :)

You look so happy and grateful with your simple life, and that inspires me😊, especially with what the world is going through right now. You're my favorite feminine/housewife channel, because you make me want to be better. I'm sitting here getting emotional, so Im going to cut this short. I'm very grateful for you and your channel 💖. I wish you all the happiness possible, and I hope you and your husband enjoy your new journey into the land of parenting!💗

I’m a career focused person, but I totally adore your channel and I find your outlook really refreshing... it also makes me think it is a ok if I want to take my foot off the pedal at some stage and slow down and embrace a more simple life or family centred life. It has also helped me to realise I do want to build a family... it’s very difficult to juggle both career and home life... which we are often not told! You have inspired me to be more feminine, and feel confident in my faith. I also love how you are frugal and open about it. SO refreshing on KZbin. Thank you, and keep doing you, keep it Christ centred and remember it’s about Him! 🙏 I hope you keep sharing your videos on faith “. I would love it if you did a video on tithing or your prayer life. I love these 'spending the day with me' kind of videos. You are such a warm and welcoming person that even your space on the internet feels like 'home.' The maturity and grace with which you responded to the criticism is even greater proof of the kind of person you are. I think any person who is sensible and has decent judgment knows who was in the fault. You are standing up for something that women are increasingly attacked in the 'modern' world for. This just shows how strong you are while also being gentle, warm and accommodating. Please don't ever feel defeated or ashamed. You are such a light in so many women's lives XXX

And I checked out your channel and immediately felt the love and positivity that you put out there and it has made such a positive impact on my life, much more than jaclyn’s videos. I am currently living the homemaker army spouse lifestyle and I struggled with feeling like I’m not doing enough because I’m not making money, but you have helped me embrace my role and I feel so much more fulfillment in homemaking than I ever did in a job! That's never going to happen. Competition makes the world go round. We wouldn't have near as many things as we have now if people didn't compete for it. That's just nature for you. It's better to accept that than to try and to get everyone to get along because it's never going to happen.

@@marlygnarly4186 I know. It's best to focus on yourself rather. Then you'll notice who are your equals and those who are lesser than you because they're jealous of you.
@Jake38nine5 жыл бұрын
@S Bradley Still competitive. The choices a woman makes also make other women's decisions easier. If you choose a career early on in life as a woman and not getting married and having kids, then your likelihood of having children when you're older and with a career is less likely. Thus those women who choose marriage and children first will have an advantage of getting their genes out there and already have a stable living and home and resources. Whereas the longer a woman takes to settle down with a man, the harder it will become and if they wait too long, then their Gene's will become obsolete from the gene pool. Thus nature's rule natural selection takes place thanks to competition. You can't avoid how nature works. Nature is naturally competitive. You can't get away from it.
@Jake38nine5 жыл бұрын
@S Bradley Why do you think Jaclyn is attacking Mrs. Midwest? Because Mrs. Midwest is competition. You're literally experiencing competition right in front of your eyes. Mrs. Midwest will likely have children and a family long before Jaclyn can even settle down properly, let alone have a child. Jaclyn's fertility window is closing rapidly at her age and she may have one kid at the very latest if she sped up the dating process with David. She really has no time to waste, but she's certainly wasting time. Nature is choosing Mrs. Midwest over Jaclyn. Jaclyn's jealousy and drama KZbin videos will not bear fruit.
