Aging naturally is beautiful but unfortunately overseen as neglect nowadays. Absolutely nothing wrong with white hair and wrinkles. I rather see wrinkles than a plastic face. And I usually think wrinkles show your true age, while I might add an extra 10 years to a Botox face because I just think if they are hiding they may be older. Reverse psychology 😂

I like that you dig deeper about what it means to be feminine. I’m a full-time diesel mechanic, part-time truck driver, and part-time farmer in addition to being a wife and homemaker. Many of the superficial “feminine” ideals are not practical for me (long hair, manicured fingernails, etc.) You have given me many excellent ideas to be a woman while still succeeding in a “man’s” job.

I just turn 36 and my idea of feminine is embracing natural. No surgeries, Botox, makeup, polish, I even ditch the dye. I’m embracing my grays, my clear skin, my natural nails. I could say that I am lazy but I thank god for being blessed with good hair and skin. Maybe he knew I was too lazy to keep up with hard work, haha but the truth is I appreciate Natural! Our culture is way too superficial and vain and somehow I fail to embrace that kind of female behavior.

Kat- thank you for your concern. My husband is a truck driver. He makes a good wage, as do I, but we both work hard to buy this farm and get rid of the mortgage so I can “retire” early and be a full-time farmer and homemaker. It’s our choice to work hard now, so we don’t need to work so hard when we are older.

Thanks for being a true feminine page. It is a hassle to find channels on femininity that don't have a condescending person shaming single mothers, plus-sized ladies, and older women and isnt about how to attract sugar daddies or men bashing. Most of us just want to learn how to be more graceful without any agenda. It is rough in these KZbin streets😔

I have to point out the obvious. You should be commended for never shaming anyone in any way, regardless of age, race, gender, religion, or any other category that does nothing but divide us. In a way, it's too bad you want to be a mother and homemaker. We need women like you in politics! You could set such an excellent example of how to be all-inclusive, joyful, fair and never, ever shaming anyone for anything. You are the epitome of tact and diplomacy. As well as class and style. And let's not forget feminine and ladylike! Keep up the good work, girl. I wish you had been around when I was your age, lol.

Personally I think tattoos are beautiful even on old people (it depends on the type of tattoo, the nice ones look like accents to the skin)
@KaylaNoelle1
@KaylaNoelle1 5 жыл бұрын
I never thought I'd get a tattoo ... but then I ended up with a scar shaped like a penis on my knee :( VERY unfortunate coincidence but people would point it out and giggle about it and scar removal is super expensive. I never wanted to wear a dress or show my legs. Then I decided to get a tattoo and my tattoo artist designed a piece of art that suits me perfectly and also fits the area of my body really well. SO now I have a daisy and several cherry blossoms in a field sketch style with pastel colours instead of a red penis shape and I feel so much more comfortable now. Even my grandma who was against tattoos loves it because she thinks it suits me so well. I am just so happy that I found such an amazing artist. She knew exactly what would look good on me and she covered the scar so well that it might as well be gone! A great tattoo artist will be able to create art to flatter anyone. She was also very aware that I act and that it was my first tattoo and advised me to use light colours so it could be easily covered if I needed to conceal it for a role.

We have this saying in Brazil that taste is not something we discuss. Somethings we may never agree on. I can see the art behind it but I believe skin is beautiful and covering it is not as pretty. However, when skin has been damaged to cover it with a piece of art might be a nice option. I think scars can be beautiful too, but again that is not up for discussion lol. The point is, tattoos over face, neck and arms can be very distracting and unfortunately one will be judge without speaking a word for just simply having it. Not that we are not judge already simply by breathing 😏

I just want to say that I appreciate so much how positive and respectful you are toward ALL women, not just those who look like you or believe what you believe. You are so articulate and so kind in how you speak about femininity and being ladylike. In the past, I have had a very complex relationship with feminity, especially makeup, first overusing it to hide myself and becoming so dependent that I would wear it every day, even if I was staying home sick from school. I then stopped wearing it completely and eventually became very offput by people who preferred more traditional femininity and makeup because I myself had such a complicated past with it and because it is often presented in a way that seems unattainable to me. Within the past year or so I have really become myself, and just recently I discovered your channel. I have never felt so welcome to embrace my femininity in the way that I want to. Your presentation of the concept of femininity is so loving, positive, and inclusive. And that is so powerful and it is helping to radically shift the way I see myself and my femininity. I have ALWAYS loved being feminine, BUT I also used being overly feminine (tons of makeup and more revealing outfits) to hide my true self. I think that many women still do this and could benefit from watching your videos. Anyways this is a weird rant and my first ever youtube comment I think but I appreciate your videos and all of the insight that you have on femininity and what it means to be a lady!

Thank you for sharing your story! I know so many women have struggled with very similar issues. It can be so easy to hide from femininity or even use femininity to hide ourselves and our inner beauty. I am so happy you are falling into a fresh perspective about all of this and working on your own journey. Yes all women have access to femininity because it is naturally within us all, although it often looks very diverse and different when put into action!! Sending you love!

Another great video. I recently had someone ask me if I am working. And their question made me feel a little bad because I can tell it was from a place of not caring concern. As well as judgment. I love being a housewife and a homemaker. You have inspired me. I was worried as to what people might think. My family has even asked me why am I not working. I tell them I love being a homemaker. Yes we are on a budget. But we are making it work. Thank you so much for all your videos. Even my fiance like your videos. Have a blessed day.

I love your channel. I’m an engineer as well as an mma fighter so I often find myself in environments where women don’t really care about the way they look. I do have a couple tattoos and unnatural hair color but I really appreciate tips on grooming, hairstyles and clothing because I’ve always admired that look. I love looking like a lady in my own way and I think that’s what’s most important, taking all this tips and using them in your own way. 💕

Your tips and tricks are just really, really, different and unique to the content that I see on KZbin. I love this classic lady approach, and for some DARN reason, it just really soothes these anxieties that are constantly growing with all these new beauty standards, that we see on YT, instagram, fb. I've never felt beautiful showing my body off scandalously, or covered in 8 inches of makeup, or conforming to a standard that overshadows who I really am; It's always been when I feel elegant and classy, that's how I feel the most beautiful and SEEN. For people to see my soul! One end of the spectrum is feeling ugly, unkempt, unattractive, sloppy, and the other side of the spectrum is feeling gawked at, cat-called, superficial, piled with makeup, and conforming to another's image. Thank you for reminding us of that gorgeous happy medium where we can be ourselves: Just the step up that WE desire, not someone else's definition of a step up. Also: thank you thank you thank you for showing pictures of different cultures; being of Filipino-Indian descent, it makes my heart have absolute butterflies.

I love this. I think so many of us get overwhelmed with the amount of things we have to do in a day (work, wife duties, personal goals) that sometimes we opt out of doing these types of things.
