I would love to have a video on how you have gotten to the point that you are running a mini Christian school.

We have loved the Simply Classical in our homeschool! 😉 Plus, Barton for my kiddos with dyslexia. Great Memoria Press haul!

So much good stuff right here. N - When you have a sec, I'm so curious what would you say is your most favorite way to teach "Learning to Read" these days??
@EducationalRoots2 жыл бұрын
Memoria Press is good! For one on one teaching I still recommend The Ordinary Parents Guide to Teaching Reading and Easy Peasy Learn to Read, but that doesn’t work as well in a class setting.

I love Memoria Press and your channel has been so helpful to me when looking for reviews. I wonder how you run so many different programs for so many kids? Have you done a video on this?

Hi! I don’t have a video on that. I do have a schedule that may help you visualize. You can see it here: docs.google.com/document/d/1y9pO1qeqcpb0kSoMpjBB0UzCZb1drJYX2xtijSp63G4/edit

I thought you bought Simply Classical before and didn't like it?
@EducationalRoots2 жыл бұрын
There was some things I didn’t like, which were the Doxology/prayers and the one reader (the stories of the jail). However, I have come to terms with accepting the fact that I do not have to do everything a manual tells me to do. Lol! Other levels of SC I have loved (specifically level 3). The majority of my students have major special needs, and I can’t find anything comparable to SC. So, I’ll take out what I don’t like and keep what I do. I’m also meshing levels C and 2 for the kiddos. All the kiddos will be doing the language and literature in level C, for example, because there’s crafts with each book, whereas level 2 doesn’t have any crafts. I think/hope my plan will work well.

@@EducationalRoots I have special needs children and I am thinking of meshing some of it together too. Thanks, I loved your video.

@@danahall1282 If you email Cheryl Swope she can help you with that too. She was really great. Unlike some companies who want to just sell you as much as they can, she actually recommended to me less than I got! Lol!
