Wow what a huge changes. I lived in Atlanta for a year and half back in 1978 and 1979. Marietta was a small-town outside Atlanta back then,now it's inside.

Miss driving I-65, 64-E along the river into the beautiful skyline🥰 and the fast ‘n wide (how I like ‘em;) inter “belt” way, aka theWatterson But all is forgiven though since, I’m not seeing any cities from the Ohio Valley region. Or even the Midwest a matter of fact. Even though the city I’m speaking of is in a SOUTHERN STATE but it’s sometimes category as a Midwest city haha #safetraveling

LOL. The speed limit is seen as a suggestion, but stick to the right hand lanes and you’ll be fine
@katiescorner58794 жыл бұрын
@@MrSniperFromMars Thank you! On the drive down, would you recommend riding the middle or right-hand lanes primarily? I need to get to the south side of Atlanta (which means going through downtown *eyeroll*) and want to make sure I'm following all the signs correctly.
@MrSniperFromMars4 жыл бұрын
@@katiescorner5879 If there’s three lanes in the same direction, it depends. I always try to stay in the furthest lane to the right if at all possible. If there’s really heavy traffic or you’re keeping up with the general flow, it’s ok to use the middle lane. But if you’re getting passed on both sides, I’d look to switch into the right lane. As for where you’re going, I-285 on the eastern and southeastern side of Atlanta can be a quieter ride than going through downtown, but it might be a little bit longer, depending on traffic
