Clarence Clemons ... Bruce loved him. You can see that in the way they react together. Together from the start. All his band members were valuable to the E Street Band. The Big Man had heart and soul .. He had a choice between Pro Football and Bruce ... Only things he kicked was the jams ... Miss you Big Man ...

Im 22 in i cry when i listen to this album in general. I feel sad that nobody i know even listen to The Boss (only my dads). So much energy and passion and hope. If someday I become someone it’s thanks to listening to his lyrics. Just leaving this here. Have a greta day lol

My suggestion for your second reaction would be "Jungleland" live in New York City. It showcases the whole band, and the saxophone solo is EPIC.

It's always about Bruce and the band energy! But Bruce's songbook is so deep, rock songs, folk songs, country songs, love songs, angry songs, inspirational songs...the list goes on...he's been the poet of my life since I was 14 yrs old, I'm 61 now! My favorite forever is Thunder Road...the poetry!

You described Bruce Springsteen perfectly with the words passion and energetic. He was one of my favorite performers in the 1980’s, and I would say he was to the 1980’s what Led Zeppelin was to the 1970’s. He has many great songs, and my 2 favorite are The River and Born in the USA. I used to get tears in my eyes listening to The River because it was so sad and such a real 8:13 8:13 8:13universal story. His bandmates performed with him for many years, and if I remember correctly he married his back up singer. He gave a speech about U2 when they were inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame and. Bono said he has the gift of the gab. I think it was a great idea reacting to some of the musicians you enjoyed on Band Aid. I enjoyed your reaction and I’m glad you’re back.

My personal opinion is that this band has the most fun ever while playing (The E street band) - his longest concert was over 4 hours but a normal concert probably averaged around 3 hours at least, Plus he had many side projects - truly one of the greatest performers ever.

"Born to Run" is the title track to Springsteen's third studio album released in 1975. It was his breakthrough hit and the album rocketed up the charts so quickly that Time and Newsweek magazines put him on the cover in the same week. Springsteen got so excited by the national media attention that week that after the concert he played in Memphis, he went and climbed the wall to Graceland, Elvis Presley's mansion to celebrate with Elvis. But Elvis wasn't home. Springsteen's concerts are legendary for their energy and enthusiasm and length. He's been known to play four hour shows every so often, more so when he was younger. Sadly, Clarence Clemons, the big man on sax, passed away ten years ago. Springsteen's catalog is large and deep, running 21 studio albums, including such classic songs as "Blinded by the Light", "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out", "Prove It All Night", "Badlands", "The Promised Land", "Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)", "Hungry Heart", "The River", "Cadillac Ranch", "Atlantic City", "Dancing in the Dark", "Born in the U.S.A.", "I'm on Fire", "Glory Days", "I'm Goin' Down", "Streets of Philadelphia", "The Rising", "Waitin' on a Sunny Day", and dozens more. I'm partial to his work from the seventies, but I would suggest checking out "The Rising" or "My City in Ruins", two songs he wrote about the attacks on New York City on 9/11.

Yep, the Boss. Part of the music of my high school years and if you actually check out his first album with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street boys, and read the lyrics, you will hear some pretty cool modern urban poetry for the time and for that situation. Just to give you an idea about his personality, of course he got really huge, they don't call him The Boss for no reason, but of course he reached a point as time went by where he was so revered that most artists that reached that kind of level end up going on these tours and the tickets are hundreds of dollars and it really has nothing to do with how they got started and why the original fandom got going. It's just the price of everyday life. He did a tour that was selling out way in advance and he did his best to keep the ticket sales down and because he was a dominant artist he could fight the label on it to some degree, and he got them cheaper than a lot of others but they were still expensive and in frustration what he did was so cool .... He would personally buy out several rows at the front of the whole front section up close to the stage, which the surrounding seats were going for hundreds of dollars which today would even be more I'm sure. And then what would happen as the show really got going and everybody was into it what was that he coordinated with security to grab a bunch of people from the cheapest seats in the house, the so-called nosebleed section, up near the top and far away and invite them down to occupy those front seats to enjoy the rest of the show. Gives you an idea about what kind of person he was.
