JRandall's designs are amazing. I used a couple (including the Manticore) in my play-thru.

Mr. Spicy, your videos always make me think I'm watching a review of an actual vessel or base rather than a video game one. You present it like a Pro! :D Great Vids!

I really like the Nemesis and glad you covered it. One thing I noticed while in the Secure Bridge, in the foward seat... the msg on the LCD screens was a nice touch, imo.

JRandall always nails it with usability and looks, on all his creations. One of my favorite ships. I would love to she this updated with retractable turrets and flashing lights.

This ship needs a refit for RE. In my opinion, it's one of the best MP mobile base with good defense that you've done. Aesthetically very appealing, with a few touch-ups and new cosmetics + RE specs, it would be trending again 😅

Great video MSG. This is almost my favorite JRandall build. It is such a great combo of like you said, the Gigacore and the Perses. The only problem is I wish it flowed room to room like the Perses. Playing with this in my PvP game it was a semi challenge to reach things as easily as I can with his other Cv's, which can mean Life or Death during PvP. Still I understand its got double armor in places and still fitting all of that function in a size Class 8 was a challenge I witnessed through his build progression. All in all there's nothing more beautiful then flying this thing in third person and just vanity posing TF outta it as you fly! lol

Was about to say the same as Ivellios... I only use BP's from either of you if I'm not making it myself, which is something I rarely do. I, for one would like to see more reviews for yours and JRandall's designs as I have yet to try them all. Know anywhere I can do that? God, I sound so fanboy RN :P

Just fought a version of this beast in the vanilla game from a hostile faction, and nearly drained my entire ammo container of ammo. Took me forever to beat it in my mid-sized beginner CV, I'm still learning the ship-to-ship combat methods. The interior was amazing, and the loot/salvage was well worth it, oh, there's been modifications so consider yourself warned. LOL

"I have tried to not show favoritism towards any designers, jrandall is one of my favorite creators on Empyrion workshop." Then, "it was just a matter of time before I covered another one of his designs". Oh ouch. Then mentioning the other designs jrandall made? Dad's favorite child? I hope that didn't make any of the others you've showcased jealous. However this vessel is a good design. I do find it a proper fit for the military aspect of the game. Good defense, good offense. I like the idea for additions of secondary location for capital ship and warp cores. The only problem I see is it is a 'traditional' vessel which I am seeing a lot of in these designs. No belly turrets like in a B-17 for proper defense and assault in a 'modern combat' (it's still only a game after all) scenario. A few but not the majority. I think players rely on the movement thrust too much wasting power. I myself have just started playing the game and, though I have to start over due to the recent updates, am working on a base rather then a ship as I can see this flaw. When completed I think I would like to have someone man this ship to a base vs. ship challenge if anyone's interested.......well now that I think of it there is another problem with the vessel though not a combat one......... The shower you showed in one of the barracks.....did it have a window looking out into the open and an elevator leading from the hanger to the bar? My grandfather was in the Navy, an Uncle 'Court Ordered' into it and father, formally, and youngest brother, currently, in the Air Force. Tried myself but didn't make it through basic but I did hear the stories, mostly from my Uncle (of which my Grandfather will deny all of them). So if the stories told to me are to be believed then service member's with easy access to drinking, fighter craft and tanks and 'peepshows' can only lead to no good and dishonorable court martial's, so many court martial's.

"Oh ouch. Then mentioning the other designs jrandall made? Dad's favorite child? I hope that didn't make any of the others you've showcased jealous." I think MSG is more then in his rights to have a favorite Designer and even show a larger percentage of Their builds over others. I have always looked at the Workshop Showcase series as an arrival that what you built was worthy of a thoughtful walk through so that others can make informed decisions as to what they'd want to use in the game. The biggest upside is it brings more people into this Alpha game, thus generating more revenue for the Dev Team to make more updates. I think JRandall is beyond humble and by far one of the most thoughtful and seasoned Designers Empyrion has seen. As far as CV vs Base, it's really Apple and Oranges unless you're referring to a Base In Space as CV's only have 30mm and 15mm Turrets allowed Planet side, which against a full armament on a base, wouldn't stand a chance. I personally used the Nemesis in my last PvP Playthrough, and while it doesn't cover all the PvP reqs I was able to mod and utilize this Vessel as my main exploratory Combat solution in that capacity. From a US Navy Vet I can confirm that combination of temptation is a solid bet. Though in the Fleet that's called a Captains Mast. Court Martial's are for the Chair Force lol. Tell you're loved ones thanks for Their service to our Armed Forces. Lastly welcome to Empyrion!

Well for the first part I was joking though it is hard to tell in comment format. As for the ground base I might be overthinking it as my thoughts are that every CV needs a place to make berth. Um.....yeah not in the game....yet........possible. However the base I have in mind is based around and actual historic military fortification dating to 1697A.D. so hover base is out the question as to keep it as historically accurate as possible, though I have to adjust some things to accommodate air defense because what worked in a time before the telegraph won't work so well after nuclear capable planes. But it's going to take time, possible months if not a year as I want to get the details as close as possible which involves visiting the fort coasting money that I don't currently have for personal expense. As for CV's I have a vessel in mind but I'm still getting familiarized with the game and really want this ground base done. This fort has a long history and, in a way, it's my version of showing respect to those who served from within it's walls. As for "U.S. Navy vet'" as well thank you for yours. If that 'From' was referring to yourself. Again it 's hard to tell in only comment form. I'd completely forgotten about the differences of 'Captain's Mast' and how the Navy has to be different from everyone else. Sergent's are 'Petty's' and O4 which is 'Major' in the other branches are 'Lt. Commanders' in the Navy and so fourth. Like I said I didn't make it through training (one possible reason being I might have pissed off a therapist) so I am not really up to par with military knowledge. But seeing as we are on the subject of space capable capital ships (at least in the game) me and my father were discussing the advent of the new U.S. Space Force when we come upon an interesting question. Of which I would like outside opinions, preferable of Military backgrounds but only if your interested as this is already too long a response and your probably eye strained and/or bored by now. Honestly this is going to long....... If you could build ships like in Empyrion would that really be the Navy's area of operation? If a vessel could be built, hover, preform the same functions as an Aircraft carrier, B-52, C-130 (of all verities), portal craft and the list goes on with the exception of small fighter craft but also (and this just me) have it also buoyant in case the vessel needs to land to ensure it can do so in a multitude of environments. To have a vessel that multi-functional then would the Navy, though still needed, be as large? I think my father is still thinking of it but I think, with respects, not so much. Not reduced, just the roles the Navy has historically preformed redirected to another while the Navy would switch to the role as a solely 'submersible corps' if you will as the hull for a craft in the air is different from one under the water in terms of the pressures you will deal with. This to me is an interesting thought. My father thinks such a branch is a good idea, I personally hold reserved of this new Space Force until it's fully underway and operational but rather have seen the money go to an upgraded version of the Air Force or revitalized NASA. But I have be contemplating between trying again for the military and joining when it's operational as I am still young enough but also a scuba diver and all branches use them (yes I know there is a military training for scuba diving but having some of the required skills still doesn't hurt) and they are going to need every bit of help they can get or as me and my father often talk of how levitation could work we've been working on a possible magnetic lift system that involves.....no it's his idea and I'm not going to share with the world and take from him. But I will say if it works it will one; need a whole new power generator to work and two; it'll make him very, very rich but the second option I was considering was offering to make the first hover shipyard to build for this new type of capital ship. But back to my original question, would the Navy still be able, or be needed to preform it's duty's if such vessel's existed. To me, no. Or at the very least not as largely as present. Such vessel's could make that 'upgraded Air Force' into a reality of which I've dubbed, 'The Logistics corps' lacking of imagination but fits. The Navy would be reduced to submarine duties but that's not a bad thing. It could lead to a focus on better submarines designs and internal improvements that I can't even imagine. Though my grandfather may cringe at what his beloved Navy was redirected to, my now passed Uncle would laugh......he, um.......he didn't love the Navy as much as his father, my grandfather. Told me stories that most of which I, purposely, forgot about. Many about my grandfather that he denies. Are they true? Wasn't there. But if they aren't true then my grandfather will rightfully deny them. If they are true then my grandfather will rightfully deny them. So I'm kind of at a crossroads here. I remember one my Uncle told me, only one, that is KZbin safe (short of) but only if you want to hear it. Anyways if your still here thank you for reading, I do mean this question with respects. With the exception of my father and youngest brother I have a long line of Naval service in my family.....mostly because my ancestors wanted out of England but still served they did.......or broke the law to take a chance on being sent to one of the colonies. It was wither a hanging or the colonies. Apparently either one was a better option then living in the 1700's to 1800's Britain isles. But this whole Space Force thing and the fact we are getting closer to building such vessel's like in Star Trek or Star Wars things are going to change in both civilian and military.

You shouldn't just show the rooms and stuff in the ship, you just test it, demonstrate it. It would be better, i think.
