I'm really enjoying JRandall's creations. I really like the design aesthetics and thorough and logical layout that he builds with. Great job!

Thanx for another wonderful showcase video for a marvelous CV. For me jrandall's creations popped out of nowhere and become one of mine and many other players' favorite creator. I would like to share one more time my opinion regarding rating on steam workshop. In my opinion that is, the fact that each creation is better seen as successful as many subscribers it has and not by the "thumbs rating" system. The later is very well known as manipulated. And to the creators I have to say this. Guys we thank you for sharing your work. Building stuff is time consuming and takes effort. No matter how good or bad it is. Each subscription to your submitted work is an achievement. And for those not having as many subscribers as might wish, including me, I say this. Do not give up. Do not see it as rejection but rather as a lesson that open a door to future improvement. Also bear in mind that as human beings that we are, we are not supposed to be liked by everybody, same goes for our creations. This is a game after all. Big thank to all of you.

I will use this ship when 8.0 comes out this is the first one all I had to do is just paint it to my colors. A CV that is a home away from home of course it will take awhile when 8.0 comes out and we restart we will work our way to this CV.

Yeah, this definitely looks like he is trying to "push the envelope" for what is possible with the current building system. In no way, shape or form, is this a utility style vehicle. My personal favorite is still the Nomad-ST. That is a perfect example of a "utility" vehicle. At the same time, he made it look good. This Monstrosity does not give off the same vibe.

@MSG wondering how I could request one of my creations be reviewed. I messeged you a few times via you tube but not sure if that really gets to you

I received one from you the other day, but just the one. If you are referring to your Big Rig design, I have it on my list to look at.

(off topic) MSG: I noticed today that all of Pyston's creations have been removed from the workshop. Have you heard anything or are you in a position to find out if he has just removed them to be updated for version 8, or ceased his steam profile or something else I haven't thought of?

As allot of us feel, He is upset about the Down-vote system. Down-voting shouldn't be an option in a player content driven system that's not for profit. It breeds manipulation in the system, letting people down vote creations to give their own better standing. The Giga-core received an obscene amount of down-votes its first few days for this very reason. If they keep the down vote then you should have to comment...period.

X Caliber damn, that's sad. Sad behaviour and sad result.

He posted a comment that I shared on my videos of his designs. Basically it had to do with being trolled and an issue with the developers of Empyrion. I talked with jrandall earlier about it, and he mentioned the issue with himself, Pyston, and quite a few others receiving large numbers of down votes within a short time after posting a new creation. So my assumption is a group of people trolling creators by just down voting every design they can. This is one reason I keep saying to go and give a thumbs up on the workshop if you like a certain design.

Haters hate. Ignore the hate, only look at the positive and the constructive criticism, or you will become as sour as the haters. Keep the content coming people, you’re awesome.

Allright so i'm just gonna say how i feel about this new stuff. These last two blueprints have been on the recommended page for this week, and so have your reviews of previous ships. With the new requirements of 1000 unique visitors that basically comes down to only the allready popular and established builders being reviewed and thus becoming even more popular. These ships don't really need that extra push that others might need. Ofcourse this is understandable, you review ships to give people a Better look at them before they subscribe to them. But the side effects of putting unknown builders on the radar will no longer happen. I'm not saying this because i'm a builder myself and selfishly seek attention (for real i'm not) but because i'm allways looking for new ships to take a look at (and possibly get inspiration from) and those ships you review, i (and probably many others) have allready seen. Nonetheless your reviews keep being a blast to watch and i appreciate the effort you put into them no matter how the series will continue later down the road. I'll be here to watch and like in any case. Ps: this ship is fuckin badass

Also this isnt meant as critique, more as constructive feedback. I'll allways love empyrion and you making content for it is amazing. People don't lie when they say you are the best workship reviewer out there

I totally agree with everything you said.

First off, a big thank you for watching the videos! My reasoning behind the visitor count was built around the fact that any design that is well done will tend to draw attention on the workshop. While many popular designs may come from people who have been doing designs for a while, I have also covered designs from creators with few or none prior to a certain one that became popular due to the quality of the design. I feel that looking more for the designs that draw this larger attention will also provide more to my Showcase viewers as a group. Of course, you are not the only one that wants the smaller designers featured as well. So trying to find a good balancing point is what this was really about. While I like doing the Workshop videos, I don't have time to add more without dropping other videos from my schedule, and I also don't want to risk getting burned out by doing too many of them all the time.

MrSpicyGaming completly understandable. Thank you for replying. As i said i hope this doesnt come over as complaining because i really love the series.
