There are a lot of jealous, nasty "brothas and sistas" that hate on Jokic. They hate that a white person yet again dominates in something they thought belongs to them. Even though they literally invented nothing, explored nothing, created nothing, discovered nothing, they still assume they can do that. Well Jokic is dominating basketball and will be the GOAT, better than Jordan, Magic, Chamberlain, Kobe or Larry Bird who by many black players at the time was considered the GOAT. Same thing with Caitlin Clark in WNBA, who is destroying black females on the court. Many hate on Eminem, because a white dude left all the rappers so far behind that it's not even funny. You also see whites dominating boxing - Yusik, Fury, Lomanchenko and before them Klitchko brothers for over a decade. We are seeing new world records even in running sports by white men and women. White people are becoming more interested in sports again and it shows. Prepare to see more hate, more envy, more anger from the blacks.

Jokic is a playmaker in a giant body. His play may not have been that attractive and not quite show , but it is unique and inspiring. He is at the service of his team. His behavior is in the Christian spirit, he teaches children to be modest, selfless and to share among themselves, finding the ultimate happiness in serving the goals of the group. And what a cohesive basketball team can do, especially in defense, was best demonstrated by Serbia, which dominated the USA in three and a half quarters of the game, even though it was objectively weaker than the opponent.

Good video and when I hear those people talk about Jokic then understand how special he is and how difficult he is to defend him. What sets him apart is his approach to basketball. He is not interested in flashing around, jumping 3m in the lift, pounding all that stuff that you see but simply plays on a different level which can be difficult to read. He has the advantage of being tall and strong without muscles, but combined with the fact that he has many skills, he solves problems without getting stuck. The guys in the video explained it very well.

Well, the thing is, he is two things: 1. A Big man. 2. A smart man. In NBA, even during playoffs, games are played in series instead of a knock-out, which means that even though those games are intense, they're not nearly as intense as they could be. Which means that even during peak season, you can abide your time, save energy, observe, and just strike when the iron is hot. It's not like in the Olympics or the Euroleague finals, where teams gamble everything every single game, and if they lose, they're out. The stakes in those games are the highest. There's no space for bs, wasted possessions or personal egos. And during those games, players play out of their minds, or sometimes just crumble by the pressure and the intensity. And in Jokic's case, he is mainly an NBA player, where high stakes games are very rare. So he doesn't need to turn crazy in order to win, not to mention that if he ever did that, he could risk injury. And being a big man as he is, that could end up very bad for him. So he just keeps his pace, comfortably entering his own zone whenever he needs to.
@CHPH-bDL3 ай бұрын
He's got perception and he anticipates where his teammates are moving as a great compensation for not being athletic for NBA standards. It's odd to se a center with play style that often resembles point guards, but he reminds you that NBA basketball is a team sport instead of one on one contest. 🍻🍻🍻🍻 So his qualities make other four guys more efficient players. I can't imagine how to calculate total contribution to one's team, but I guess he would score extremely high there. 🍺🍺🍺🍺

The answer to why his skills are so great, passing, field survey, throwing, may seem strange to people from the US, but it is because in Europe, in schools, every team sport is played, football, handball, Basketball, volleyball. Due to this, the range of skills and coordination is much higher than that of US players. It is often the case that even a good footballer or handball player changes the discipline, e.g. at the age of 16 or even 18. In Poland it was, for example, Marcin Gortat, who played football until he was 18.

It's true sadly. Jokic isn't flashy unlike LeBron on his prime dunking on everybody like unlike Steph shooting and he already knows it's going in midflight so it is indeed true like dude Stockton went under the radar for so long till they start giving the MJ problems in the finals like Stockton's awareness with the whole court enabled him to be unbeatable on his steals and his assists can't be touched "maybe one day if Jokic remains healthy" but no one remembers Stockton for the Wizard he is so it's just the reality of stuff but it's OK since people that knows basketball knows Jokic is the real deal and can't take that away from him.

There's only one part of mathematics Jokic cares about and obviously its not statistics but it is percentage...he's looking for which of the five players on the court has the highest "percentage shot" because that's what makes it look easy to score which is part of the mental part of the sport. Growing up I thought Kevin McHale was one of the greatest players ever because it seemed like he never missed... that's because he shot over 50% for his career, so now knowing the statistics of Kevin McHale career makes sense why I thought the way I did watching him.

It's easy to measure vertical and speed and all that, but how do you measure the ability of someone's hands? That's what makes Jokic elite. He would be a top 5 center in the league just by size and intelligence, but the shooting and passing are like Steph. It can come out unorthodox but the ball goes where he means it to go. He never misses a pass or a shot by a mile, no matter how tough it is, he aims small and misses small.
