Didn´t know this song but it got me. And your final words reminded me of what my dad used to say: Never go to sleep arguing. Always make your peace with each other. You never know if one of you doesn´t wake up again. And then you´ll regret.

Hi! Recent subscriber. Craig is quite a guy. Between active and reserve duty he served about 17 or 18 years in the army. Including 7 or so as a combat medic. After working some other jobs and doing music part time he decided to try and make it his full time job. He has had some real success. Several months ago he came out on stage at the Opry in uniform and explained that he had discussed with his family that he felt he had left something unfinished by not hitting the full 20 years. So right there on stage an Army reserve officer came out and swore him back into the reserves and he is completing his 20. A couple years back Craig's 19 year old son was killed in a tubing accident. He did what all songwriters do to cope. He wrote a song. He performed it one night at the Opry and barely got through it. All the Opry cast told him it was great, and he said glad you liked it, I will never do it again. Ricky Skaggs told him that song would reach and comfort tons of people and he needed to keep singing it. He has. That plucked every heart string. Sad and so moving. The singer, Craig Morgan, had a wonderful voice, IMO.

Check out his song, The father, my son and The Holy Ghost. He wrote it about the death of his son. Emotional. Almost HOME is another great one of his.

Craig morgan is great! Fun fact: craig served in the military before becoming a famous country singer and not too long ago, he re-enlisted.

Another country song that you would need some tissues is "Bench Seat " from Chase Rice you would need to watch the official music video to completely understand the song and the message.

I watched my mom die of a heart attack when I was 17 and still in high school I ended up having to go live with my aunt and she treated me like a burden talked about sending me away to a home and it made me feel like I wasnt wanted and wasn't loved. I've also almost died 3 times from seizures so I feel this song a lot
