@BlackPegasusRaps I cannot thank you enough, or agree with you any deeper on what you said. My dad (USAF Capt. Steven Bennett) was KIA in Vietnam and posthumously received the Medal of Honor. I am so in awe of him, what he stood for, and how honorably he lived his life. I am proud to be his daughter. Songs like these fuel our patriotism and make us proud to be American. As hokey as many people think Billy Ray Cyrus is,he has a song that I highly recommend you listen to. "All Gave Some". That song gets me every single time. So does this one. This is a fantastic reaction. Thank you for supporting the men and women of our services. Thank you to your dad for his lifetime of service to our great US Air Force!

Toby was a true patriot. This was from his heart. I am in total agreement with you when it comes to separating the soldiers from the government. The government may be crooked but the soldiers are out there to protect our country and we wouldn't have the freedoms we have without them. God bless our military men and women.

It made me so very angry that the "make peace not war" delegates were putting out all of their hate on the soldiers doing their job! A job that they were forced into! Spitting on & throwing rocks at soldiers is equivalent to doing the same thing to a cashier because of high prices at a grocery store😢!!! Throwing out your opinion at the person who has no control and can do the least! I'm sure that you don't think that the cashier isn't mad about the price just as much, and that soldiers don't just get up and think, I want to go away from my family and risk my life, to see how many people I can kill, who are also away from their family, risking their lives, just to do a job that they didn't see coming either😢!!!

Same here. My son will be 41 in May and even though his time in the service was only 6 years, he lives it every day and is very proud of his service and so am I. It may have only been 6 years but he’ll tell you he’s a marine for life! I also have a daughter and this may sound horrible, but I can’t imagine her being in the service.😬. And I don’t mean for that to sound bad at all. Your daughter sounds like a very brave and courageous woman but like you said, I still see my little girl. My son has wanted to be a marine since he was 3 years old. Maybe that’s the difference, I heard from the age of 3 until he signed the papers at 18 how he was going to be a marine. Both of my kids turned out to be great adults and that’s what I’m most proud of. Please tell your daughter thank you for her service!

I'm in my 40s, I didn't know a lot about the Vietnam war, and even less about Korea, but I did know about how soldiers etc were treated when they came home. Fast forward to my 20s and I was coming home from a 15 month tour of Iraq as a transporter with the Army. We landed in Bangor Maine to refuel and get a new crew which meant we were going to have a couple hours in the airport. It was the middle of the night, but we stepped into the jetway toward the terminal and it was lined shoulder to shoulder on both sides with Korean and Vietnam veterans welcoming us home. I wanted to shrink into the carpet. I wept the entire way as I walked. I knew what they had suffered in war, and even more what they suffered when they came home yet here they were, welcoming me home and I hadn't suffered nearly anything. Even as my memory continues to fail me, I'll never forget that day.

Respecting our military despite how we might feel about the government was lesson learned too late, especially when it comes to Vietnam Vets. I can remember how some felt when we went to war against Iraq after 9/11, the concern that the soldiers would get the same treatment as many Vietnam vets received… I live near a Naval Air Station and every time their jets fly (which is quite frequently) I am reminded of the fact that the freedoms we have in this country, freedoms that are often taken for granted (like being able to be vocal against the government) come at a cost.

Toby Keith was an incredible man. Stayed true to who he was and was such a great Patriot. Did 11 USO tours playing over 240 shows for our troops. Sometimes even as bombs were going off. The tours stopped with the pandemic and it was during that time he was diagnosed with stomach cancer. He lost his battle with cancer on February 5, 2024. Please react to some of these when you get a chance. Me Too. (Great song about love from a man's words). How Do You Like Me Now. Red Solo Cup. We Were In Love. (The build in the chorus is incredible). Trailerhood. I'll Never Smoke Weed With Willie Again. Who's That Man. I Wanna Talk About Me. Don't Let The Old Man In. He Ain't Worth Missing. Wish I Didn't Know Now. A Little Too Late. I'm Crying For Me. Beer For My Horses. You Shouldn't Kiss Me Like This. Who's Your Daddy. I Love This Bar. Made In America. The Talliban Song. There are so many more. Great song writer. RIP TOBY KEITH.

When he returned a changed person, he also chose to end his life because he could no longer fight those demons. From the granddaughter, daughter, niece and wife of veterans, thank you for your authentic reactions. I enjoy them all, but this one is uniquely appreciated. I was an Army Brat also born in Germany. I am a peace loving "hippie" in a lot of ways but I will always have the utmost respect and love for our service men and women.

I too am a Military brat. I am also a free spirit who traveled until my accident 4 years ago ... My grandfather (Army WWII), my dad (Navy Seal Vietnam), my brother (Iraq - Special forces) & my youngest daughter (Navy Cryptologic Technician Interpretive). I will defend them just like they defend me

Every time I see this, I start crying as soon as that phone rings. I spent the first 20 years of married life as an army spouse, and I remember that phone ringing and driving my husband to the airfield and knowing he was probably going to jump out of that airplane. Now I have spent the last 18 years as the mother of a soldier, and have had to watch him fly off to deployments 6 times. It is so much harder when it is your baby.

My cousin was a helicopter pilot in Vietnam. I remember my grandmother leading us in us in prayer every day at lunch for my cousin. He is such a nice guy. My mom didn't have the eyesight to become a pilot but she actually took flight lessons. She loved flying. He took her up in his helicopter and it was one of the very best moments of her life.

I have a love/hate relationship with this song. My cousin was a marine and was KIA in October 2005. He was my first best friend. I was an emotional wreck at his funeral and don’t remember a whole lot about that day. But I remember this song being played in the funeral home over and over. That’s the hate part… The love part is that some of his best friends in the marines have become like a family to me. We have laughed, cried, and every emotion in between talking about him. To this day I have a hard time listening to this song and not getting emotional. Bless you for reacting to this song and great reaction.

❤❤❤ For your commentary, Robert. I was a WAC from 1975-78, and I had a "cushy" job, working for the chaplaincy, always stateside. No matter what your MOS was, you never forget the sense of being part of a huge family in the military.

My dad served as a firefighter in the Air Force for 21 years as well......and 22 more years as a civil service firefighter at the LRAFB in Arkansas. I also served for 23 years in the Army and was deployed 4 times, so I know this sacrifice as a father and husband and I know this sacrifice physically because I am a 100% Disabled, combat wounded veteran, who also knew and served with the heroes that gave their lives for our country and our freedom. Mad respect to you and your pops. Love the channel, the content, and genuine love for good music, no matter the genre or artist.....one of the best!!!

Toby not only went overseas to preform for the troops with the USO he also did things for service members & their families. I know at one of his concerts (probably at more than one) he got one of the spouses to attend his concert and at the concert surprised the spouse. The service member had just returned home and surprised his spouse at the concert.

This video always gets to me. My dad was in the Air Force for 21 years Out of the last 8 years he spent 13 months in Thailand during the Vietnam war. And after that he was home 3 months and then in Okinawa for 3 months until he retired. Every time he left or came home, we would be there. At the end of the video it shows a soldier writing a letter. Every single day, my dad was gone my mom and dad wrote letters to each other.

How awesome that the casting director reached out to you! True patriots do what they have to do! If we didn't have patriots we would be under tyranny! Governments start wars not the citizens! Rest In Paradise Toby and to all that fought for this country! We are a young country compared to the rest of the world but we will hold our own! NEVER FORGET! Prayers for our new administration!

Love this song, love Toby, he was a patriot! My husband is a retired soldier, we went through several deployments and many panicked nights when you're in the middle of a phone call that is cut off from incoming. It's not an easy job and he will be a soldier until the end. My job is taking care of our soldiers and it's sad to see these young kids coming in that have pr I missed this same thing but just by looking at them... they are not ready for this type of commitment. They're not built like previous generations of men and women that made that sacrifice for us. Toby will always be known for his patriotism and support of our troops.
