I'm doing my hair in vintage styles for almost 14 years and I still learn so much from your tutorials. Thank you so much.

I've seen photos of my mom taken in the forties. Wow! She had the hairdo and the coat with the padded shoulders. Her heels were toeless with the ankle straps and she had an alligator purse. I think it was alligator. She was a cutie 💗

I love your tutorials, and I’ve been practicing! I don’t know if you any advice on two things: First, what to do if you have shorter bangs? Side swept ones. 😬 I can’t figure out how I can incorporate them into a roll without it looking funky. Second, I have very fine hair, and for the flat rolls at the temples, the pieces feel so thin, even when I’m using what feels like a large enough section. Should I do “longer” sections there, do you think?

My hair never wants to stay brushed out, the curls somewhat go back into ringlets. Have you found that setting lotion help with this? I’ve never tried it!

You might just need to brush more or you can set with duckbill clips to hold the shape. Are you setting your rollers horizontally?
