Neat little thing about the NewBeeDrone BeeBrain Brushless...it can run 2s off of that same single plug, so you can have a 1s AND 2s all at the same time. TinyHawk 2s 300 batteries have the same lead and work great with the Gold motors. Obviously you'll need a 2s tune but I got that in the works with the fellas. The only mod I've done to mine is to clip out the NBD logo on the battery tray so the 2s TinyHawk batteries fit perfectly and a rubber band to hold it on. It's CRAZY good on 2s.

Hi Robert! I just started to develop this hobby, and at the beginning of my journey I heard a lot about TBS with their top-end equipment and the like. But having bought inexpensive equipment with the FrSky receiver, having assembled the first drone with my own hands, and having spent $ 500 on all this, I can say the following: The most important thing is that I am in the sky, I am together with you, and this is the most important thing for me, friends are flying next to me On Mercedes and Lexus, and I feel great on KIA. And the main thing is that all interest in a hobby would not end at the stage of conversation. Guys, clear the sky above your head, and most importantly for all disputes, do not forget why all this is, and this is all in order to fly, fly and fly again.

Micros have come a long way in the last 2 years. Prebuilt can definitely work. Just be careful if you tinker a lot. The smaller drones can be problematic because there is less room to work/solder/rebuild. Had a friend that was starting out on like Emax Baby Hawks and the burn out issues were a real thing for the VTX or trying to build stacks. The buddy totally went down the rabbitbhole iver the past 2 years from micro Toothpicks up to 7in toothpicks and everything in between.

Since I understand both types of flying are way different my problem is I have no FPV equipment at all, so taking advice from one of your other videos I want to start off small and gain experience so I've looked into kits like the emax tinyhawk 2, betaFPV, etc. that include all that I need or would you recommend buying all the components separately. Just got through the video. Any other recommendations for beginner drones that use the DJI air unit? I wouldn't mind having to build one either if it comes to be cheaper. It would be preferable actually since that's the fun part too. I'm an electrical engineer and also going into mechatronics and this looks like an awesome hobby to relate. I have the DJI FPV system (goggles, air unit and remote) ordered and arriving in a few weeks. In the meantime, wanna get the drone ordered too. I'm new and my approach to the hobby is to get a good setup in goggles, camera and remote, (might not stick with DJI remote) so I don't have to buy different ones again later on. Then can start with a decent but cheap and durable drone to learn to fly around, maybe even mod a bit. My style of flying would be like Mr. Steele's freestyle/acro. My budget is fairly good between the $1000 to $2000 range but that would be like over the life of the hobby if possible with a nice 5" quad as the end goal. Thank in advance! Thanks for making these awesome videos and getting me into the hobby!!!

The part 107 license isn't required to fly drones, so long as you're not using them for commercial purposes. And the ham radio license I'm pretty sure isn't needed either unless you want to have access to different wavelengths for your transmitter and receiver, but it's highly unlikely that you'll need that.
