Another proof that it is not only your skills but exceptional spatial awareness. It seems your brain is very fast building up a 3D map what is where and skill comes along to know how much throttle input you will need to hit the curve coming backwards. This (skill) take years and constant practice and trusted gear but the rest is pure amazement in the brain. Someone should put those MRI pads on your head while flying to see what is going on there.

Buy a transmitter first. Download a sim. Liftoff on Steam or Velocidrone online. Great starting point. You get an idea of what it's like and can build up basic skills before you dump a load of money into a hobby you don't know you like yet. Because you will crash. A. LOT. But it is amazing 😍

Have you tried out the Fatshark Shark Byte system? While the range isn't as good as DJI, the lantency is consistent and much closer to analog and they have the full betaflight OSD working. Sadly the first few cameras for the sytem were really bad, but now that new cameras are on the horizon, the system could become a serious competitor.

I think once Sharkbyte has the higher powered vtx and the new camera bugs are worked out then dji will soon go out of fashion. I moved from DJI to sharkbyte just to try it. But man the fixed latency feels excellent especially when combined with the expresslrs on 500hz

@@tomengman Agreed. Sharkbyte is much better in the woods than dji. I've had Sharkbyte now for 6 weeks. Sold my dji gear first to raise funds. Took a gamble as I was fed up of the pixelation in the woods even at 50.8mbps. I asked numerous youtubers how does sharkbite handle woodland. No real answers... took the gamble... And am very very happy I did. Fixed latency and another level of clarity. No blotchiness. Yes its lower res, yes the current cameras are crap on a sunny day in open spaces. But in the woods it's very good! So at the moment for those wanting to admire the world dji.... at least until the bugs are worked out of the new cameras. For those who hit bandos and need the penetration dji..... well at least until the higher power vtxs come. Basically it's great.....

I have been playing online games with bad internet and variable latency all the time and I hate the feeling of moving with packet loss and ping issues. I understand why you wouldn't fly on the edge with those conditions. It looks SOOOO crisp though... But for anything else than cinematic or long range I have no idea how I'd react to it.

I've always referred to your see & react style as flying on edge. I fly mostly DJI now but always keep an up-to-date analog build specifically for edge flying.

@@Isaac-uu8ie If I could only have one or the other I'd choose DJI for sure. I only fly my analog setup at gnarly locations when I want an extra split second to fix mistakes. If a DJI equipped quad crashes somewhere awkward it can be problematic. The video can lock or the vtx can overheat and shut down. Not great for bandos.

@@StR8KiLLA_FPV no, I'm talking about if you crash and just can't get to it quick enough. Even with auto temp control off it will eventually shut down.

@@StR8KiLLA_FPV Totally. Analog vtx can burn up too. That's a smart idea to drop the output power if you're stuck in a tree or something. A couple of my quads have pit-switches on the FC and I actually use them with DJI. It's super rare but occasionally it's nice to be able to turn off the air unit/vista or power cycle it from my TX.

I have to try DJI FPV too, i only knew you and DRL using Analog professional, you change now and DRL changes to 5G so probably i need to give it a chance..

Lookin like a newb with that DJI hoopla!! Its crazy to see what tests your abilities with latency. Its incredible how much quicker your response is on analog..... Its why i sold my dji crap. Just cant compete. It may be pretty, but its failing miserably in the bedroom 😆

one of the few rips you can see a fast pilot and the slightly longer latency of dji having any real effect, in time @mr steel would compensate and hit the missed gaps or ground crashes . Dji is still the best for most pilots, there are only a few mutant pilots that can fly like this - i switched to dji 6 months ago , very happily pleased

Nope. You can't compensate for latency. In time you'd learn to "fly within the limits" but you'd never fly as well as with lower latency.

@@stuntstrat76 you are completely wrong we need both. fatshark has stayed stagnent for many years until dji came on the scene and gave fpv its biggest gift. Analog is dead. any company small or large that helps fpv is the BEST thing for our hobby. tons of big companies are esential to fpv hobby.

The difference with your usual flying is insane. I could tell how much the variable latency was affecting you. I can imagine it is like playing an fps with input lag, I hate that shit. The image quality is amazing but I prefer to have less latency

Great flying as always. I really appreciate your fervor for Analog video link. I believe its less proprietary nature allows for more freedom in choosing components; not only in options, but in “in stock” items as well. I love going to that spot you can get all the way to the rooftop then you can get on top of the water tower
