For cartridge based consoles, look for no-intro roms, for disc based consoles, look for redump isos/bin and cue/gdi files (like the ps2 one by AlvRo, renowned guy in the community, in the video)

As an archivist at heart, or let's be honest, a data pack rat... I love that the community is doing a fantastic job of preserving the history of gaming. I think there should be a gov't bureau of preservation doing this though, with experts actually paid for the work of carefully collecting and curating it all.

I have the Raspberry Pi 4B 8GB in the Vilros keyboard/touchpad hub with a 8bitdo N30 wireless mouse. I run Berryboot Lakka and Berryboot Retro Pi mostly with a wired Playstation 4 clone controller. I have found picking and choosing your favorites for each system is way better than having everything on there. It can get to be a mess otherwise and if you're not going to play them it can save memory and memory is everything.

I heard from a friend if you get the chrome extension ‘Simple Mass Downloader’ it just downloads all the games in three easy clicks. * Pro tip use the ext. filter on bottom left to not download html ect. files.

When it comes to roms, I don't like having to download ones with an exclamation mark in the file name, because it gives me the idea that the files may ne faulty.

Actually the exclamation mark stems from an older naming scheme introduced by the Goodtools set of comandline renaming utilities. It was used to mark this as a verified good dump. Bad dumps were actually marked "[b]" ;)

You don’t download, you then don’t copy what you’ve not downloaded to the usb device. Simple.
