Scout will be fast alerted about trickstabing so will take care to not be so near him. Soldier egg. Rockets? Not so hard to hit scout then what the problem with spy? Engi well. Sentry will be problem but not mini. Pyro will airblast when spy will be too near. Some like that will do unusuals. Medic may go melee but that should not be big problem with others....

One, it's a frag montage. They never reflect reality. All the many times the medic spins around and crit ubersaws him in the face have been cut out. If you want realistic good spy work, watch Mr P. Two, there's lot of kills on new players. Sure there's skill on show, but anyone can stair stab a W+M1 gibusvision pyro going in a straight line if you know how (hold ctrl and abuse the shitty hit box).

Mellee in TF2 uses the collision hulls as its hitbox but the hulls don't rotate with the player and are instead aligned with the map so even when you take out lag there's always going to be some element of luck in which direction the encounter takes place. Apart from that the ping may just have not been in your favour so the enemy was able to track you correctly.
