That days have gone for ever and the new era of plug and play technology came and it is walking into the use and throw mind setting.. @@MrtechElectronics you need a sweep signal generator (si5351), an swr bridge, and use the tv tuner as the receiver for the signal. It may be possible to repurpose the vco inside the tv tuner as sweep generator and use an other tuner as receiver after adjusting for the 33mhz if offset. These are purely for experiments as it takes a lot of time, but also a lot of learning. Am rtl-sdr is inexpensive and provide some more insights and options in your rf projects.

If we connect IF out directly to RF input of radio. Then multiple FM station receives same time. Because IF output of tv tuner have very high bandwidth. So the saw filter helps to reduce bandwidth to 6MHz
