Good stuff Al, nice little collection you have growing there! Assuming you can get into that thing without destroying it, I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to hook up a LED or two to light the marquee if it's translucent enough? It does seem a bit of an oversight on an otherwise decent little cab.

Cheers Neil. I think getting in to it would involve peeling the side art off to get to some screws, which would lend itself to a high probability of trashing the stickers. A back lit marquee would've been nice, but I'm not _that_ fussed about it I'd be willing to damage it.

Great video , thanks ! By the way, did you had any issues with the ''home'' button ? This button seems to do nothing on my unit and I have to turn it off and on to switch game !

@@Eric-on6kr I've not had any issues with it myself. Someone else in the comments had problems with a non-working brake pedal, they had a look inside and the wire was coming loose, it sounds like you've maybe got a similar issue.

Can you check to see if the brake button works on yours? Mine doesnt so it will have to be sent back.

@@SwainyAtRetroAsylum Just fired it up to check - yep, works OK on mine (which is good, as it would've been a ballache to send back to the US).

@@MrThunderwing Cool, thanks for checking. I've just spoken to a mate and he thinks that he can repair it. I've opened it up and the serial cable that runs to the control panel has started to come un-soildered. Like you say, returning them is greif.

MC Thunderwing DJing hard at the start there. I think these mini arcades look very cool but theyre too small for me. My hands are big so id never buy one, be too hard to control them. Pole Position is very cool tough!

@@TheRetroMartin It's really more the novelty factor of owning them for me (and the fact that, one full size Barcade cabinet aside, I don't have room for any full sized arcade machines). I do play the mini cabinets, but it's more about them looking nice as a collection on a shelf than anything else really.

@MrThunderwing I should probably lean on my wife about the gaming shed idea. I can set up an arcade cab or two in my garage for now if I needed to so I have outside space. Just not IN the house. Gaming shed is sounding the way forward. Plenty of room in the garden!
