Thank ya! This was a crazy 2 day event that was super cold and rather windy. I wish I landed at least two of the ones from the morning of day 2!

Sup Kris. Day 1 I called it spook then deeper drop shot lol. Day 2 I would've started with0-3' jerkbait then same drop shot deeper. Day 2 started lol calmer. Great video. That 4lb was sweet. Ty tc

It is absolutely breathtaking either from the lake looking around or from the top of Mount Sunapee you can look down on the lake. The whole area is just beautiful however, since all the homes around the lake are owned by flatlanders you absolutely can’t put your boat in that water Between Memorial Day and Labor Day too many big boats goin 80💔 that was a beautiful lake to fish back in the 70s when the homes around there were owned by New Hampshire citizens it was a fishing lake then❤️🔥 Then the realtors figured out if they started advertising in Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts or they could get big money for these places, they wouldn’t have to accept the peanuts that New Hampshire citizens were able to pay and ever since then school gets out down south the parents come out bring their kids, their great big boats, their jet skis, and they leave their kids here for the whole summer to raise hell they have a lake association that fought fishing game for over 20 years because they wanted to put in a new boat launch after millions of dollars on the lake that’s owned by the state of New Hampshire. fish and game gave up. We just could not keep up with the lawyers bills, but before and after those two holidays, the lake belongs to the Citizens once again.❤️🔥❤️🔥

It always amazes me you guys can fish standing up. I think I would flip a kayak over setting a hook. Congratulations on second place that’s awesome.

Have you ever used a Bonafide SS127 Kayak? If not, then that's why you! :) Thing is super stable! Thanks for watching and commenting Kevin!
@kevinwotton18773 жыл бұрын
Do you know if you can mount a trolling motor on the front. At some point I will get a kayak but I want to be able to use my minn Kota power drive with both my boat and kayak. The video going over the Bonnafide is like 20 minutes long so I know it’s loaded with features. I will have to find time to watch it
@MrTightLines3 жыл бұрын
@@kevinwotton1877 oh heck yes you can mount a front end motor on. You just don't want to do the foot pedal kind, as that doesn't work the best while standing in a kayak. The remote control ones seem to be best. Most people use a Motorguide XI3 with spot lock. I'll be getting that setup at some point.
@kevinwotton18773 жыл бұрын
Definitely. I have the old power drive that only has a remote I hang around my neck. I love spot lock and making tracks that I can just hit repeat and the boat drives it’s self. Makes fishing with 3 kids so much easier.

great video, I dont think you understand how much better a crawdad would be lol. Easier loading in and out than a yak, same weight maybe less and you can walk around on it.
@MrTightLines3 жыл бұрын
I used to own one. I prefer my Bonafide SS127 over my old tiny boat. I had my previous one rigged pretty good, so it wasn't any easier loading in and out. Plus, I can compete in wayyyy more legitimate tournaments out of a kayak. Thanks for watching the video and commenting. Appreciate it!

Once I get ahead in finances, I intend on getting a bass boat so I can easily take my wife and daughter out for a day on the lake. That will be my bigger vessel.

Strong work. Day 2 maybe was tough in the a.m. on a Spooke because of a colder night. The fish usually don't commit to moving baits as aggressively. Maybe try a soft fluke next time when a dip in temp happens the night before your outing.
@MrTightLines3 жыл бұрын
Yeah maybe! If only those fish would've grabbed hooks though! I've never used a soft plastic fluke / soft jerk before. I know I have friends that swear by them. I'll have to give it a shot, thanks!

This makes me wanna hit up Sunapee in the yak! Did you have to wade through many rock bass to get those smallies, and just cut the footage? I've heard they infest the place.
@MrTightLines Жыл бұрын
I didn't catch a single rock bass during the 2 day tourney! But you're right, I would've cut those little bastards right out of the footage hahaha! Thanks for watching and commenting!

Getting your GoPro to focus? I believe they have a set focal point so if that's an issue you may need to contact them to sort it. Thanks for the kind words and I'm glad you liked the video. Appreciate the comment.
