Kinda neat how they adapted Okarun's Turbo speech a bit. In Japanese, he refered to her by her first name, which is not exactly polite when you dont know a person close enough. Its why it is so common that characters end up getting their last name as their unofficial nicknames. English, for the sake of keeping the punchline, had him refer to Ayase as "Babe," which kinda fits, considering how much BadBoy energy he is exuding, and it has that element of "Dont you get too familiar here!"

This is peak in both. In the sub you got Luffy's voice for Turbo Granny and dub voice is just as nostalgic as she's the voice of Rita Repulsa from the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. This is is a complete win for anime itself. The line delivery and emotion in both languages are just perfect.

I'm Japanese. When I watch foreign movies, I usually watch them with Japanese subtitles. Of course, it's fine if the voice actors are doing the Japanese dubbing, but sometimes celebrities who aren't voice actors do the dubbing, and if they're bad, it really puts me off lol That's why I feel like the original voice helps me get more into the work. On the other hand, I feel like if the dubbing matches the scene, the atmosphere, the character's expression, personality, and above all the story as a whole, I can get even more into the work. Recently, I've been listening to the voices of foreign voice actors, and as you all say, there are more and more talented people, which is great 😀 I think that if the original language is different, it's very difficult to translate, let alone voice actors, but I've recently come to think that if there are translators and voice actors who understand the story and can do it well, watching in your own language using dubbing can help you get more into the work. Regardless of which country's voice actors are good, I'm simply able to become engrossed in a work just like everyone else, and enjoy a work just like everyone else, even though my native language is different, and I feel very happy about that. That said, I also think it's a good thing to have preferences for dubbing and voice actors. I've read the original Dandadan manga, and although this is just my personal opinion, I think it's a very interesting and fascinating work. I hope that even those who don't know the story beyond this point will enjoy it. I'm not good at English, so I'm sorry if my English is strange 🙏

People are tripping over themselves to praise the English version because for once it's competent enough, and YET anyone who's just looking for the best performance would be hard pressed to point a single line where the delivery wasn't better in the original Japanese audio. In particular every time Shion Wakayama/Momo Ayase is involved the gap in quality (expressiveness, emotion, comedic timing, etc) between the two versions becomes immediately apparent. She's been the absolute highlight of the show so far.

I think the Japanese version of Momo munching the crab is a funnier sound but the English dub is fantastic.
