I thought you have to use prime factors to work out question 6, correct me if I'm wrong.

Well, prime factors is certainly the easiest way to answer it, as I realised after I'd solved it the hard way! No, unless questions specifically specifies a particular method of solution, then any valid method that results in the correct answer is acceptable.

Last year you needed 62 marks on each paper to get an 8.

@@MrTompkins If u got for instance a grade 5 on one paper and then on the next 2 papers u get 80 marks on each could u stil get a 7 or is the grades a average?

@undercoversummer1232 yes, your grade is awarded on the sun of your 3 papers. So if you dip in one, you can make it up on the other. It’s petty common for students to perform worse on paper 1
