This is probably the most upgraded Super duke that i've seen on the internet. 7:20 could be the riding modes. Throttle response on SPORT mode is quicker than RAIN mode. I came from a Tuono V4 2020 to this Super Duke and i found the electronics on the Aprilia a lot better.

Uhm, it's not riding modes, it has the Akra evolution exhaust, so it also has the unrestricted map. ... Unless of course they were complete retards and didnt use the free map that comes with the exhaust. But that is hard to imagine. They would have had to use an ESE and so on.

I like all the options added to his KTM but the "Stealth side mirrors?" You can't even see behind you, Maybe you can see your elbow or your shoulder. But for Aerodynamics it's useful.

Coming from the Doubletake Trail Mirror, visibility with these Stealth Naked mirrors are much better. Yes I can see directly behind me and the next lane over given it’s a smaller sight window. With the naked version you can also adjust the mirror inward or outward at the mirror perch to get the perfect sight window for your needs.

Surely if it has a full system then it will need or have had an ecu flash done - that might explain the better throttle response over the standard ImKay one. Like most bikes they need a bit of customisation to really dial them in because stock they aren’t that nice to ride in lower gears because of Euro5

Cool bike. Nice to see the parts come together on one machine. I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure stylema brembo front calipers are standard from 2020 on the superduke and 890 duke r. At least that is what i read on the Rottweiler performance website. I was curious about brake upgrades. I think the M50 brembo was the previous gen calipers. The gp4 rx brembo is the "higher spec" upgrade if it had stylema's.

Victor is correct I wanted the oem black Stylema vs the standard silver colored ones. I did upgrade the pistons to the BrakeTech ventilated stainless steel pistons.

@steveglee I didn't realize they came in different colors depending on bike manufacturer. It looks good with what you chose. Did you notice any difference at the lever with the piston upgrades? Like initial bite or feel ect.

Yes the Stylemas also comes in red for Ducatis and blue for the S1KRR. I would say the Brembo 17 RCS CC made the biggest difference in terms of bite and stopping power. I’m sure the upgrade in wave rotors, sintered brake pads, ventilated pistons, cooling ducts and Castrol SRF Racing Brake fluid also contribute to the overall improvement of stopping power.

Those Clearwater front lamps.. Why those, why that spot? Aux switch, or tied with HB trigger? Do they eliminate that blind spot in curves? Did you try any other products, in any other spots? Epic build BTW.

I went with Clearwater because they are one of the best in the aux light industry. I went with the Glendina lineup because it was their smallest low profile aux light. The aux lights are wired with to DRL so they are always on at 100% brightness. But with my 2.0 SDR they were also wired to my DRL at 80% brightness and when I hit the HB the aux lights goes to 100% but with the change of the electronics and headlights from 2.0 to 3.0 this was no longer possible with the Glendina lights. These aux lights aren’t to improve my night visibility but to increase my visibility to traffic as studies have shown that motorcycles with a triangular light pattern is more visible than a single headlight pattern. People do see me as I experienced less people trying to turn left in front of me and when I lane split/filter people move out the way for me. I’ve been so satisfied with Clearwaters there’s no need for me to try another brands. Clearwater does offer several mounting solutions but I haven’t tried any other positions as I like how it looks mounted on the lower forks. Hope this answers all your questions.

You can also get a race version from KTM. I really like those master cylinders and levers. What’s the view like from those mirrors. I like the style but they need to be practical for me.

Fronts are KTM oem led indicators . The Motogadget was plug and play. Just wire them in and they worked.

KTM for some reason has always been a bike i didnt even look at, as if its a shit brand, but honestly idk shit about ktm but their bikes look beautiful

Because the new Super Duke is just unbelievable! The only thing on it that's the same as the 1290 is the brake calipers. I've never ridden a Kawasaki H2 but I've been on everything else and the new Super Duke is the best naked bike ever built.

I’m happy to have owned and rode it for the past 2 years. Here’s the thing: the jump from Gen 3 to Gen 4 is a small one. It’s not a total re-design. 50cc bump in displacement, some minor revisions to electronics and suspension and variable valve timing (mostly for emissions compliance in EU), slightly larger tank and redesigned fairings and headlight. It’s similar to the jump from Gen 1 to Gen 2 which was similar for the era. This refresh is more evolution that revolution. To-date, the biggest change in SDR evolutions was between Gen 2 and Gen 3.

Well bought new, 2021 was, orange, on first 50 miles was on highway , and faults came, lost some power, coz engine check light and other fault. Return bike to dealer, and dealer couldn't find nothing wrong, so reset faults and probably done some update. Later was ok, but that engine vibrations also didn't like. Power was good-amazing, bike is beautifull, but I couldn't expect such thinks.
