Do you consider a remap because of the exhaust mandatory?
@Victor_Moto2 жыл бұрын
Not mandatory but it does improve performance.
@gmc35783 жыл бұрын
does the "fueling" need a "fix" after this mod??? I thought it sounded better with the "insert" in there... at-least over KZbin.
@Victor_Moto3 жыл бұрын
Nothing felt lacking while riding it. Felt amazing actually. But we'll find out more on the dyno.
@prtmez3 жыл бұрын
You just keep the same map? Does the ECU make the adjustments on its own?
@Victor_Moto3 жыл бұрын
Two things to note: there is no exhaust valve. This exhaust uses the stock O2 sensors.
@sarahdell40423 жыл бұрын
These run super lean when adding an exhaust. If you want the bike to last, change the mapping ASAP. Not to mention, it will make less power with the exhaust on stock map.

I saw in one of your replies that you were going to try the jet prime tuning module. Have you gotten a chance to try that?
@Victor_Moto3 жыл бұрын
No. We just received a stocking order of Upmap for the 660's. I'm installing it on Orlando's RS 660 this week. His bike has the same exhaust as this one.

Hard to tell from the video, but does the passenger peg block installation of the muffler, or does it just not line up? Wondering if I could fab a bracket to make it compatible with passenger pegs.

It just does not line up.

Does the ECU need a flash after this install or not? The Akra one has a flash I believe.

Yes. Unless you're willing to ride the bike with an AFR of about 15 or so, which you probably shouldn't

None yet. Looking at JetPrime as our first test.
@dhowting3 жыл бұрын
I wish it was shorter so it sat under the bike similar to the stock exit position. It looks too bulky and out of place up above the swing arm. Leaving the back part of the lower fairing off looks too unfinished as well.
@Victor_Moto3 жыл бұрын
Visually, I agree. But I bet this length is best for performance.
@Cosmy883 жыл бұрын
the RS660 Trophy bikes have a longer fairing, so maybe they'll put on the market an add-on for the stock belly fairing
@Victor_Moto3 жыл бұрын
@@Cosmy88 Sounds like a race fairing kit.
@dhowting2 жыл бұрын
@@Cosmy88 the silver pieces that are attached to the stock muffler come off with a couple small bolts......I think I'd try to see if there is a way to trim them and allow for the pipe to go through where the stock outlet position is by cutting out the bottom part of the triangle shape and removing the triangle trim piece. I'd also try to find some hi temp enamel spray paint and either match the pieces to the red on the bike or black. I've also seen a shorter version of the SC exhaust that ends at the rear foot peg and has a smaller muffler a little bigger than the size of a beer can. I'm guessing it's more of a race/track version but that's the one I'd get!!! Lol
@florianfuchs5703 жыл бұрын
is it possible to continue to use the pillion footrests?

It's not designed for that. It would take some modification. I don't recommend it.
