Brian, I've just got to say your updates are very Educational! Not only are we getting the course in meteorology along with updates on these dangerous storms, but I have also been brushing up on my Caribbean Geography and my Metric conversions! If it's working for an old guy like me, they should have your videos playing in school classrooms as well. But on a more serious note, Thank you so much for sharing this valuable data in a way that makes sense. I've been wanting to comment for a while now, but life's been pretty hectic. I'm a storm chaser and spotter with 30+ years of experience & I just wanted to tell you that you've become my number one meteorological news source. I've taught hurricane preparedness and safety for over 20 years, and you epitomize everything I talk about when I'm educating others. By that I mean, you're not a sensationalist, you use "we", which is an all encompassing and compassionate way of speaking. You break things down in a way that helps those with little to no knowledge of weather terminology fathom what everything means. You're not after views; you simply want to help. That's evident in your approach. To me, that has a lot of value. Weather is sometimes impossible to predict (particularly with confident accuracy). While I know how to read weather maps, not many do. The actions you take combined with your deliberate method of empathetically delivering information is second to none. I use a multitude of sources to make my own predictions which my family and friends have come to rely on, but ever since discovering your channel, I've directed them here if they wish to be regularly informed. This is all just a very wordy way of saying: I like your channel and applaud the way you break things down with inclusivity as well as encouraging intercommunication. 👏👏

Hello from Honduras! Yeah, people here are anxious about Sara, especially along our Caribbean coast, the Bay Islands, and nearby areas. Roatan Island is already reporting heavy rain as of Friday morning, in the coastal area there are evacuations of exposed areas and the rescue services are on red alert. We have bad memories of the extensive flooding caused by Hurrican Mitch, which similarly stayed offshore for several days and caused catastrophic damage. Also, a few years ago, the northern areas were badly flooded by Tropical Storms Eta and Iota. Here in Tegucigalpa, deep inland in south-central Honduras, our biggest concern locally is about possible landslides and extended blackouts. Brian, speaking as an 83 year old former Broadcaster, it might comfort you to know that my bride (of 44 years) and I start our day with your weather forecast. I am curious where your show originates and where you got your education (it was money well spent). I will tell you I flew single engine airplanes for more than 40 years. I also flew hot air baloons while still in my 50s. I learned more about the weather flying baloons in about 10 minutes than I did flying single engine aircraft in 40 years. We have a pretty good metiorologist in our area by the name of Van Denton. He got his education at NC State University. Your Broadcasts have helped me stay with or slightly ahead of him so, thanks. Good morning Brian and viewers Tobago 🇹🇹 here it's a sunny day in my area. I'm a bit saddened by the death of the teacher who lost her life in the floods in Grenada on Monday when her car got swept away. There are lots of people who don't listen to weather reports and some who never pay heed to being told don't drive through nor walk in flood waters. So many information we are given from Brian taking his time to explain in detail. Thank you Brian. Ppl be safe out there especially when it's raining don't drive in flood water.

I live in Nicaragua. I am so grateful for your channel. I love that you give forecasts for the Caribbean and Central America. It has been raining for several hours where I live, yet (In)Accuweather shows it partly cloudy, chance of scattered rain showers and their radar does not even show water/clouds over my town!
