This was a bad thing for me, it's not fallout. You are supposed to scrounge, not just be given everything you need. I playing fallout 4 survival right now and it's very exciting to find 4 rounds of .308.

I've been noticing that too. Helps a lot for keeping myself stocked on most ammo types. I try to rotate my weapons a bit for fun, and that also helps me get the variety back.

Yep! I have never played a Fallout game ever. I have been having loads of fun though. 76 is really really buggy though. The bugs are really bad, so it makes it difficult, but the game is really fun if you ignore the bugs lol.

With big events with large mkds dont worry about killing enemies, focus on tagging to rapidly boost xp. If you have the cold shoulder that is a big help on bosses as it slows them down.

For beginners this game is ALL ABOUT BLOODIED WEAPONS & UNYIELDING ARMOR. Everybody uses SECRET SERVICE ARMOR, you get that by Dam near if not doing ALL THE MAIN MISSIONS. If you are like me and not trying to be weak the whole campaign, then understand this. If you started from level 1 like me MAIN MELEE & BOOST YOUR STRENGTH to max,but also use atleast 2-3 on INTELLEGENCE to buy MAKESHIFT ARMOR or STABLE TOOLS, so your not having to find scraps to keep fixing the chainsaw durablity ( Chainsaw a TWO HANDED FULL AUTO MELEE/MELEE ). This helps kills alot of people fast, save up money & buy a chainsaw from a player or find one from a guide video. Scrap them til you get DUAL BAR & then Buy Flame mod from a TRAIN STATION ROBOT. Build your deck from there. DO NOT WORRY ABOUT BLOODIED AT ALL. YOU WILL NEVER HAVE THE RESOURCES FOR THAT OR UNYIELDES ARMOR. Instead use ARMOR THAT GIVES YOU A STAT POINT ( PREFERABLY STRENGTH ). MELEE IS BY FAR THE BEST STARTER BUILD ANYONE PLAYING WITHOUT OP FRIENDS SHOULD USE. It is the cheapest and less time consuming build on the game. Focus on DAMAGE REDUCTION from here, because the CHAINSAW WITH DO ALL THE DAMAGE FOR YOU. If you can find BETTER GUNS IN OR PLAYERS VENDORS GREAT. Marksman Sniper Rifle & Double Barrel Shotgun are THE ONLY USEFUL DEFAULT WEAPONS IN THIS GAME. MELEE HELPS YOU GET ALOT OF AMMO, you can sell that to your vendors for $1 ( PLAYERS LOVE AMMO ). EVENT EASY LVL UPS: You can find BIG POLYGON Exclamation marks on your map. DON'T JOIN THEM UNTIL YOU SEE ANOTHER PLAYER THERE. This is so that TRYHARD PLAYER can kill them all for you, JUST MAKE SURE YOU GOT AN AUTOMATIC GUN TO SHOOT THEM BEFORE THEY DIE or the kill won't count for you. Do the Lowe Downe as soon as you hit L20. You will get a Fixer and will be awesome even umodded till you get enough caps to buy a higher level-although some players, myself included will either give/make you one or sell them very cheap at vendors.

I feel the shotgun is a better option. Shotgun shells are a lot easier to get than 45s. Than at 40, you get a gatling gun.

Unfortunately no, they can’t. But if you get Fallout 1st, even if just for a month, you’ll always be able to build the Scrapbox and Ammobox at your CAMP, even after your subscription expires. You can still access them, too. You just can’t add anymore items to them.

I use molotov cocktails to tag enemies at Moonshine Jamboree from the roof on the greenhouse side. Demolition Expert, Grenadier make the explosions cover more area as they run down the hill. Other guys finish them off, I get XP.

Hmm, I started a couple weeks ago and my play style has been very stealthy so far, which I’ve been enjoying but I don’t think will lead me towards getting a Gatling gun anytime soon. What do you mean by leveling up your armor or backpack? How do you level them up? I randomly had my first encounter with a Blue Devil today; it was hilarious and epic. I was running through the woods near the giant satellite dishes and ran right past a group of 5-6 cultists I didn’t see. They all start unloading on me, so I duck behind an overturned truck and started thinking about if I wanted to take them out or not. Then out of nowhere, they stop shooting at me and start shooting off to my left. This Blue Devil dives into the group of cultists and just starts wrecking everything. They all went down like chumps in 20 seconds or less. The Blue Devil was giving me the side eye as he finished them off so I high-tailed it out of there! It was perfect. Straight out of a werewolf movie or something. Those cultists got what was coming to them. Lol

Also: assaultrons are terrifying. Probably the toughest things I’ve had to face so far. They can one-shot kill me instantly and I have to sneak up 30 times or so with a sniper rifle to slowly erode their health down to zero. Very stressful.

Just started playing 3 hours in Chose shotgunner lvl 20 already built a camp with a functioning junk exctractor and nearby water… collecting lots of scrap/material not sure what to do with …Not trying to have a huge base just essentials, solo player What is the best food to keep/cook? What I’ve been doing now that I have my camp is just going to nearby areas and looting everything until I’m overcunumber scrapping the items and placing all the material in my storage box same with ammo and stuff I don’t use… also any food I cook seems to get rotten before I get hungry ? And do I keep my weapons that are high value and scrap the rest? I’ve noticed I unlock upgrades to guns I scrap but I’ve been scrapping guns I’m not interested/have low value but I don’t wanna accidentally scrap a really good weapon and me not know it’s any good?

Combat armor is best until you get secret service armor. And PA is always great to have in your back pocket, even if you don't use it a lot. Hope this helps :)

Sir did they nerf Luck Hole Mines? Everything I read tells me that a Gatling Gun will drop from a cultist near the alter. I have had it drop once for so far. After I got it, I hopped server and tried 2 more times and it did not drop.

Beginners guide pro tip: Turn on Twitch. Find a 76 streamer with "playing with viewers" in their title. Join them for XP focused gameplay. No excuse to not be level 100 in a matter of hours. Kinda wild creators don't tell you this since there are always dozens of streamers just asking for viewers to take under their wing.

At perk machines, like the one in The Rusty Pick or at the front door (exterior) of Atlas. You can push a button specific to your console or pc to reset the points. This doesn't allow you to pick new cards though in my experience so far.

You need to find someone to kill you and all will go back to normal. You picked someone's collectron, and unfortunately some people have them locked. It's not a bad thing. If you ever see the option to pick a lock at someone's camp, don't :). Hope this helps!

You obły get wanted for Red coloured actions. If the action description (Steal) is in white - go for it. For the red ones leave Your junk in Your stash, or just die close to Your camp. Steal the goodies, wait for somebody to kill You and get Your junk back.

I mean...locking the ability to change your stats that much behind a paywall is wrong dont you think? I like the old system...and itd make specialists.By doing the perk cards and these load outs how they did it just kinda killed it for me becouse everyone who can afford it can be whatever they want. For instance, Imagine if you were one of a very few people who could craft weapons...like HIGH grade weapons...then you could start your own shop and your services would be in demand...they would have everything they claim they wanted from the start. Players filling job rolls in games and the like...by doing what there doing there killing all of that you know what I mean?

Instead for 500 of there tokens anyone can have different load outs. Dont stress it man I was just giving you a hard time...if you were stressing it lol. I may know what you mean...but others may not and they will likely hop in and do what they think your doing. I mean...someone HAD to point that out lol.I understand what you meant tho...that all you have to do is tag an enemy to get xp for killing it.
