I used the Androdumper app for 2 years to use the wifi of my next room neighbor. Saved a good amount of money. I used internet for basically ZERO money. It was back in 2017-2019. But I don't use it now as I have my own wifi setup. Last year I checked whether this app still works or not and it was giving error connection as expected. I think this app does not work anymore.

Bad actors with a brain can make a OSINT tool and make thier own version of "girls around me". That one app just happned to get published and became avilable to the public for a while. You can bet that these tools still exist and still get developed. But they probably don't come with a user friendly interface. Whoever develops them probably use it for targeted tracking insted of "just girls". Using internet comes with resposiblities. So be careful of what you post online.

There is an app way early on in the Play store. It allowed you to make calls and it would look like their number was calling them. Then you could disguise your voice. I have that androdumper before it can try to hack a wifi with wps security, and sometimes it can actually get in but most of the it don't, I dont know how it works but my guess is it try to use the default password of the target wifi, because some provider has a pattern in setting up default password
