what i love on this performance is that we got to watch closely how much precision and speed this piece requires, which in turn makes recognize the amaizng talent that gary moore had to do it do live for more than 2 decades, and how great a genius damian salazar is to improve upon gary on this music.

Wow, did it really? I think I know why, but the answer is going to be every bit as absurd as it sounds. JB is playing the basic album solo, but he is daring to improvise over some of the parts. I think that's why some people are being dicks. He is playing a very close to the record version, but deviating for creative reasons. Sounds really good to me, and I actually can play this song, so it isn't like I'm talking out of my ass. I love the deviations from the record, and the way he handled some of the signature parts as well.
