Gut gemacht und poli orea! There's definitely a great story behind the Small Stone phaser. Again, great job on the video.

This is a really great video about the phaser effect! Thank you so much :) JMJ used ONLY the first generation of the Small Stone, not the 1978 version. He might have had some of the Russian versions as well. However, he has stated in interviews that he didn’t find the newer versions as good, which, unfortunately, they aren’t. Only the 1975 / V1 version is “the real thing,” but to be clear: all Small Stone pedals are great, but none can sound like the V1 version.

Hey, thanks for watching and for the useful info! I don't have a version 1 to compare it but I'm pretty happy with the one I have in my studio.

😂 nice cameo reproduction of the original JMJ video 😁👍. I've still got my Mk.II from decades (apparently the 'one' to have - your 2nd Small Stone image). Still sounds fantastic of course !! 🎹🎶💥🍻

@MrWoofer They seem to be quite expensive now for the original ones (there are many modern takes on the Small Stone phaser stomp box of course....), some have seen better days. Mine's in fairly good condition considering its age. Not planning to sell as fits some of my music, so gets used as & when it's most appropriate 😁👍🎹🎶🍻
