Yes! Another episode of life on the river! Absolutely loved this one, with the stay in Corowa and your subsequent relief to be back on the water. That last camp was just the perfect ending to the episode. It looked so idyllic.

Thanks, Amy, for another great episode. Great to see emotions in there and capturing the moment. Corowa, who knew? Isn’t it amazing that we learn so little of our own history during our school years here in Aus. I felt a bit disappointed that I had never heard of Corowa or it’s place in our history. Now, it’s somewhere I will visit one day. The drone fly through fitted in beautifully. Once again some lovely shots and camera work and plenty of hours editing I’m sure to put it together for our viewing pleasure. It gives us a taste of the experience, and a desire to explore. Looking forward to the next instalments.

Thanks so much CM👍. Yes, I never knew Corowa was such an important place in our history before I visited too. Actually there's a lot more to learn about the town, so I hope you do get there one day to find out all about it! So pleased you enjoyed this episode, and thanks for your comments 😀 it's always great to hear what you guys think of my filming and editing and keeps me motivated to keep creating 💙

Love the maps, nice to see the river traveled. Your night with the cows reminded me of several nights on the Shoalhaven River, except mine were possums, they were relentless lol. At least the cows didnt abscond with your drink bottle left out in error or thongs that were chewed 🤪
@AmyOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Deb! Hahaha, I've spent a noisy night with possums when I paddled the Glenelg River a couple of years back... they get into EVERYTHING! and I woke up on my birthday that next morning to a lot of little "presents" all over both our kayaks, lol! I wasn't worried about the possums thinking my camouflaged tent was a mound they could stand on though, because they didn't weight a few hundred kg's ;)

Thanks for following along Cheryl! I started out editing it all on my phone, but for the MRX series I decided I wanted to up my game a bit, so got myself an M1 Macbook Pro 14, which handles all the editing and rendering of these videos really well (thankfully, because the file sizes can be huge!)

@@AmyOutdoors what made you go the mac over a more powerful pc?
@AmyOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Cost was the first consideration... the upfront cost was slightly cheaper for a mac, but the ongoing annual software licensing with a PC for Adobe Premier Pro was the same as a one-off purchase of Final Cut Pro. I also asked other youtubers what they were using and why, and 70% of them recommended getting a Mac. I had never used a Mac before, so there was a seriously frustrating few months unbrainwashing myself as well as learning a new software product, but I'm comfortable using a pc or Mac now.
@RiverlandAdventures2 жыл бұрын
@@AmyOutdoors interesting! I have a macbook air, which isn't handling it well at all. However have always been a Windows person, and ended up with a mac as it was a equally valued comp for a return... anyway, I was considering getting a pc, so I would have both, but I didnt take into account the cost of the software........ hmmmm
