Winix Air Purifier Review - Compact Stage 4

Hey I think @Dennis already mentioned this, but you put the filter in upside down, the fan should be pulling air through the opening of the filter so it can't be blocked, you should have the end that is closed (that says 'Bottom') towards the bottom side of the machine (from the perspective of the Winix upright), where you twist to open the bottom of the product, and the hole or opening of the filter should be facing the fan.

I had to watch this video a second time to see if I was seeing it wrong. the man in this video is putting the air filter upside down. It's a wonder he doesn't burn the motor up. The air filter has bottom written on one end of it. That means that part of the air filter goes to the bottom of the machine where you screw the lid on. He is putting that part down inside of the machine. It is blocking 75 percent of the airflow the way he is doing it.

Yes he's put it in upside down. This compact Winix is actually a solid, well-regarded unit, its just unfortunate that twits like this are attempting to make a buck by promoting it. The best thing that KZbin could do to restore integrity to its platform is ban Amazon affiliate links

5:10 - The one I purchased do not detect anything. It is always blue no matter what I blow at it. Smoke, perfume etc. You name it. Maybe a quality control issue ?

I don't actually have a decible rating, but if you put it on it clears the air then goes silent. It is only noise if it is purifiing.

Smoke is easiest pollutant to detect. It should not be used to demonstrate foe effectiveness of the sensor

Did you find a difference? I think the black/white versions indicator light is on the rim of the purifier, while on the white one here it is around the inner display.

Isn't it time you corrected your video, to put the filter in the correct way round? Presumably the part with the word 'bottom' should go at the top as you put it in and then when finished and you turn the whole machine over the bottom will be at the bottom. Yes it's confusing and this video should be removed and redone.
