I have two great regrets in my old age. 1: I’ve only discovered Lisa late in life. 2: For reasons I can’t fathom nobody appears to want to get Lisa into the recording studio. We either have to somehow get to concerts ( hard when you’re on the other side of the planet) or listen to badly recorded, amateurish KZbin clips. I’ll be dead before I can buy a CD/DVD/high definition download of this staggerlingly brilliant artist. So very , very frustrating.

My theory? She was poised for solo stardom in the early 90's and realized she'd have to sell her soul to succeed, so she stepped away and decided to sing on her own terms. She won't allow herself to be corrupted by the darkness of the music business. No record contract means no one trying to control her or do anything against her conscious.
