These kinds of factory fishing boats hauling up hundreds of thousands of pounds in a trip are why cod populations are on the decline. And even if they are international waters, coming from Europe to take all that fish off the coast of North America? I dunno. Maybe eat more locally-caught fish people.

Ya and Norway has the "best" cod fishery in the world currently, why are they going to Canada and why are you bringing the US into it. That's a whole different stock and problem of its own. This is off newfoundland and it's the dirty European boats that shut down the fishery back in the day....... well that and the dirty government that let them come into the boundaries for profit
