My life has been nothing like Ms. Pats. It wasn't perfect but i had two supportive parents & a village behind me. I didnt have to make any difficult choices like this ever. I had the honor of catching one of her shows at the Pheasant Run Hotel, St. Charles, IL. She was hilarious. My best friend and I were the only black people there that night, and boy, did we stand out. I laughed so hard I could rarely catch my breath. She is a joy to see live. I would love to catch her show again.
