Recorded at the Denver Bahá'í Center in February 1993 by Richard Stamats and edited 1996 for a DVD and use at the Denver Baha'i Center. This DVD is almost 2 hours long and tells of Ms Pasarow's personal experience and her thoughts. ...Shoghi Effendi, The World Order of Baha’u’llah, p.108
Regarding Christianity and the Baha'i Faith please note the following:
…the Faith of Baha’u’llah - if we would faithfully appraise it - can never, and in no aspect of its teachings, be at variance, much less conflict, with the purpose animating, or the authority invested in, the Faith of Jesus Christ…
As to the position of Christianity, let it be stated without any hesitation or equivocation that its divine origin is unconditionally acknowledged, that the Sonship and Divinity of Jesus Christ are fearlessly asserted, that the divine inspiration of the Gospel is fully recognized… The Founder of the Christian Faith is designated by Baha’u’llah as the “Spirit of God,” is proclaimed as the One Who “appeared out of the breath of the Holy Ghost,” and is even extolled as the “Essence of the Spirit.” His mother is described as “that veiled and immortal, that most beauteous, countenance,” and the station of her Son eulogized as a “station which hath been exalted above the imaginings of all that dwell on earth” ...Shoghi Effendi, The Promised Day is Come, p.109-110

I was so fortunate to see this lovely soul speak live and tell her ND experience in great detail about 25 years ago. In the packed school auditorium on a Saturday afternoon, you could hear a pin drop as her audience was riveted on every word. I was already a Baha'i at that time. Her story is true.

@@peroddvarfinsdahl2986Not 1 Real Near Death Experience has ever Confirmed the Bible is Legitimate. It's written by Man. Notice Jesus didn't personally write anything in the Bible or any chapters? He knew it would be corrupted and changed to bring people to fear. The Christian God Loves Conditionally. Only if you Obey Him then he loves you, Only if you obey him then you end up in heaven. If you don't obey him you'll be tortured and hell for eternity. What kind of God is that? Certainly not a loving God. If your child disobey you their entire life would you send them to hell to burn forever with no possible escape? Absolutely not. God is unconditional love. Yes Jesus is real, But his words have been twisted in scripture from the beginning. You can research thousands and thousands of near-death experience They will all tell you similar experiences. God is unconditional love. Yes Jesus is real But he is only love and forgiveness. God is pure Love. We chose to experience this thing called life. We all return to God no matter our experiences on earth. This is a soul lesson. Get out of your captivity and live your life as it should be lived.

Astounded me when she spoke of becoming a small ball of energy. Shortly after losing a dear loved one, I was napping and experienced my loved one as a small ball of energy, and me becoming the same to join him flying around the room at high speed. I also feel the same, I fear losing those that I love. I don't fear my own death. They say that there is no time on the other side and when you die, it is your time, but for those of us left behind .. it's an awful long time without the ones we have lost and the heartbreak and grief continues until we ourselves pass too. If there is anything to fear about death, it is the possibility that there is nothing beyond this life. I feel that there is more but god I hope I am right because there are so many people I need to see again.

@26:46 This is so amazing to hear. Many years ago I had a experience that I will never forget: I had been riding my bike, and stopped to rest and enjoy the view. When I looked at the shrubs growing beside the road I had an overwhelming sense of the energy permeating life. I said aloud with the joy of a child, "Wow, God you are everywhere, within everything!" (I'm not a religious person, but this is what came from my heart.) As I looked out to the ocean, an internal voice told me to look up. When I did I was completely amazed to see the clouds above me formed in huge, capital letters I AM. I was filled with immense love and bliss, and knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Universe is alive and conscious. I continued to look at the words in the sky with tears in my eyes until they dissipated back into clouds. I think about that experience all the time. It brings me great comfort, and helps me maintain an active relationship with God/Creator/Source. It also reminds me that everything is made from, and connected through this field of conscious energy/love.

My mother was a Baha’i,and I spent my early childhood receiving this message...somehow I wandered away from these spiritual teachings.I think it was the lack of love that I perceived in the world around me.I thought that the presence of darkness all around me was proof of no such loving god...and that we were in a state of chaos in a meaningless reality.I honestly do not know the nature of the Universe,but would have to agree that love is the only way,the only mediating force that matters.

this is a very impressive presentation. I love the calm sincerity that Pasarow demonstrated here. It took a while to understand the timeline of events but I now realize Pasarow's birth of faith happened at the age of 13. Her NDE at 16 then matched the powerful images she'd already developed at 13. In my study of NDE's I see that the spiritual beings never violate the deeply held beliefs of the person they come to meet in the hereafter. It was good to hear this confirmed, once again.

a very intelligent woman who is entirely believable and inspirational ---- was particularly impressed with her views on the necessity of suffering in order to bring about understanding of the manner in which deep love is inspired. Without conflict we can not fully appreciate how true love is inspired. I think those who suffer and die from tragic circumstances will inspire love of others who well meat the sufferers in heaven.

I have read practically all published material , secular, religious and scientific, on the near death experience and this account is absolutely unique in all respects. This is indeed a most remarkable person like her account unique in all respects. The NDE, though most commonly experienced by an individual found or assumed or established as being clinically dead, has in fact been experienced by quite a few under what may be considered to be not abnormal circumstances. While the accounts cannot be denied as having actually been experienced the entire experience is totally unreal, illusory and fantastical and produced by the so called dead brain. The brilliant Dr Fenwick has established that cerebral activity exists for an appreciable time after the declared clinic death. As for content, this is fashioned according to the cultural , religious, philosophical principles held by the experiencer. All of humanity years for, even dies for ,love, peace, joy, bliss, empathy, justice, order and all so called spiritual gifts and all of these the declared clinically dead brain provides. The one single most important element in NDE is that it is absolutely impossible to establish at what point in time or in the chain of events does the experience occur. Objective consciousness is totally absent during the NDE and the emergence from this state is characterized by profound confusion. When is the experience constructed is an element of the phenomenon that leaves its validity unproved and unprovable. The entire NDE could well be a cerebral construct after the state of confusion but before the emergence of objectively verifiable consciousness. The mental construct supplies all that the individual yearns for, hence the generally similar content of all NDEs

The negative near death experiences directly correlate with the fear of death especially if you have been trained or told to believe in the possibility of going to hell. It is a temporary experience. We all came from the light, the light is us and to the light we will return. We are all players in this grand design. Every experience yields expansion. The duality exists for us to experience the all of it, the up, the down, the dark the light, the fear, the love, ect, ect. I know that someone will throw stones (or in this case verses) at me to show me I'm wrong, but its okay. It takes a huge amount of courage to have your own experience of God.

I am a Baha'i, but haven't been involved in the Faith in many, many years. I have been watching NDE videos and came across this one. Yes, it's long, but since it was filmed at the Baha'i Center in Denver, I watched the whole thing. She mentioned that during her NDE she heard the words, "Here am I, here am I" and then after attending a Baha'i Fireside several years later, she was give the little book: "The Hidden Words of Baha'u'llah and while reading it came a passage that, among other things, said: "Here am I, here am I", which was one of the reasons she became attracted to the Faith. After watching the video and getting ready for bed, I went to my cupboard and pulled out my copy of Baha'i daily readings called, "Nearness to God". I turned to the page for April 20, and there were the words: "Here am I, here am I". God speaks to us - all we have to do is listen.

I have watched nearly all Near Dead Experienses' videos on KZbin and read many of them on press. So, now I know very well that, GOD created we ''all people on the earth'' with LOVE. And we all human beings are the children of same GOD, the religion of people does not matter. WHAT MESAGES ,HE is sending us, by those Near Dead Experiensers? Answer is LOVE, pure LOVE, unconditional LOVE. If we want to go to heaven, we should, (we must) love each other and do not kill and do not war on the earth. But what we do (all people on the earth)are killing each other in millions since the beginning of the history, and still killing everywhere. So, what should we do? First; The rulers of the countries should stop going to war and should stop manufacturing arm material and try to solve all problem in peace. Kind Regards. M. Shener. FromTurkey.

One reassuring aspect is the profound experience of dying, akin to looking through the James Webb telescope. This encounter shares parallels with mystical experiences, prompting contemplation on the nature of reality. It's remarkable to witness individuals who, throughout their lives, may have seemed inherently human and somewhat self-interested, transition with such nobility and dignity during the dying process.

+she-butterfly I can see your comments are heartfelt and you desire to warn others about what is presented here. I also understand some cults brainwash their members and don't let them study anything but the cult message. The Baha'i Faith encourages education, urging everyone to become well-rounded in knowledge. This includes any study one wishes to make of any other religious teachings. As you may know, Jesus told us to "Watch" and Paul said to "Prove all things; hold fast to that which is true." You cannot prove or know if you don't investigate. Independent investigation of Truth is a primary principle of the Baha'i Faith, not just a right, but a responsibility of every individual. I hope whatever response you give is based on knowledge and love, not fear of the unknown.

Richard Stamats I can see that you are in fundamental Christianity which believes that the Bible is a literal word of God. Have you read Leviticus in the Old Testament? I suggest that you do that again. In that book it says that you may beat your slave as much as you wish because he is your property as long as he does not die as a result of your beating for a day or two, and it’s ok if he dies a couple of days later since he is your property. Still think that the Bible is a word of God? Read it for yourselves!

I don't know him and I'm neither fundamentalist Christian nor Baha'i, but I believe Richard's comments show him to be in the Baha'i faith. And he's the chap who posted this video. I like the liberal, open-minded philosophy of love in the Baha'i faith, but I've had two families in my therapy room who were absolutely crushed by the homophobic aspects of the faith. Both families had young adult children who had come out to them. The religion started in the 1800s when an Iranian man pronounced himself to be a prophet. I think they consider their prophet to be consistent with Jesus and other great prophets. I know very little, but I do recall that both families left the faith. I had suggested they could stay and try to help the religion evolve, but both said it developed in the 1800s in Iran and the writings of their prophet are sacred. I expect that they will change in this regard, despite the writings. As you suggest, no sacred texts can be taken literally. These folks tend to be liberal, so...

She says the Bahai faith is the most inclusive, yet Bahai still looks to one teacher/messenger. There is a better way. With near death experiences every returnee is a messenger, and the instructions they are given is a message for us all. There is no need for any single religion or messenger anymore, because we now have a million honest messengers who have returned from their NDEs. NDE returnees are just ordinary, humble people who had a scrape with death, yet those experiences transformed them, and their message is meant to transform us. No need for Bahai, no need for Buddhism, no need for any religion. You have the direct experience of those nearest to you, related with total sincerity, repeated a thousand times over. And by following their guidance, you will have a direct experience yourself - you will bring the light into this world So you have a direct link to God. And can achieve it by simply asking for help - and surrendering your ego to unconditional love. Then light will spring up in your own life

Every Messenger of God like Jesus, Buddha or Baha'u'llah delivers teachings at two levels. One is directed to the individual in how to treat other people and to develop virtues. The other level is directed at social cohesion and the development of civilization. What you are saying concerning receiving a direct knowledge from God for your own personal life can be true. The reason Baha'is believe in the necessity of Baha'u'llah's teaching is the aspect of building a world civilization. A world civilization needs a spiritual center of unity for the human race. This is the distinguishing aspect of the Revelation of Baha'u'llah.

@shelullaby
@shelullaby 9 жыл бұрын
you cannot see the fruit because she is only talking, not performing some charity works, but her words are deceiving. Charles Manson's "fruit" was obvious too late, unfortunately. I want to remember you that he also used to talk to his followers a great deal about love and things like this. He was only telling them something their wounded hearts longed to hear so that he could later destroy their free will and turn them into killing machines. Now, I am not saying that this lady is Charlie Manson, nor Adolf Hitler, all I want to say is that these people have in common a natural talent in deceiving people with sweet words. They are seducing masses for their own personal interest, or for a greater agenda. I believe you are well aware of those guru in India who are seducing young women, or preachers who make a profitable business out of their televised shows. Nobody sees their bank account, nor see them abusing women, right? They are all talking about love and how we all should be one. Perfect, let's lose our individuality and let's all become one! One mind, one religion, or no religion at all, one big country with one gouvernment. It's even easier to manipulate crowds this way. If she talked about immoral things, nobody would have bothered to even listen to her testimony. Maybe she is also a victim of a great deception. If she really experienced what she claims she might have been tricked by bad spirits. Who knows. We have no other proof than her story. Maybe her Baha'i faith is lacking followers so she made up a little scheme to make it more pupular. Look behind her. On the other hand, If you had paid attention to her testimony you would have been able to notice a great deal of new-age cliches that she integrated in her little speech. I want to ask you something. Are you absolutely sure this is not a made-up story? Some false prophets' fruit start with lies. A man that is capable of lie is capable of something more. Lack of sincerity is lack of respect, lack of integrity. How can lack of respect turn into trust and love and godliness?

Jason : religion is just a way of man attempting to understand God, each religion throughout time has tried to get man to understand it through that prophet and expression of that time, Baha'is are the youngest religion and respect and love all religions and tell their people to investigate and study it out, don't just accept what people are telling you......very well balanced......they are not allowed to proselytize (which i appreciate when compared to other religions) so believe me that is not her motive, she is just expressing her beliefs and encouragement and where she got it ........
