I have MS and also travel Delta. Have never had issues with taking my scooter (TravelScoot). If you belong to AAA, go to one of their travel agents. VERY helpful. I travel with travel companies.went to Ireland with Collette. Important consideration: Just because a tour will say something like”must be able to walk 1 mile” you can still go! You must be able to make adaptations. For example, this tour had a walking tour of the city but also had the choice of a bus tour. In 2025 I am taking a Road Scholar trip entitled “Ireland at a Slower Pace”. Sounds ideal for a 74 year old who needs a scooter!

I forgot to add: Swallow your pride and wear an adult diaper on the plane. Nobody will know, and the added protection for accidents will relieve some of your stress!
