Awesome, I have used your stencil and save a rack vsd file as svg file, and paste the svg code to Solarwinds [Custom HTML] for showing the rack diagram. With Solarwinds ajax SWQL api, it can update the status, machine type or SN etc. to the rack diagram field by xpath with js code.

To handle this non a standard size device, or two half width of 19 inch devices combining as one full width device (Some small firewalls are half width, and having a tray to join two devices as a standard 1U device for HA, such as Juniper SSG-5), or a blade card as your video front page. Hi Surrogate. I really like this shape. I have a question about it... would there be any possibility to have a version of the shape that is 1/15 scale by default when using on a sheet that has no scale defined, i.e. the sheet is defaulted at 1:1? would be bees knees for me then :D

Do you have a video on how to create the rack equipment shapes? I use Middle Atlantic racks, and just want to create 1U - 5U shapes that I can assign names to as I design a rack.

Добрый день! Эти стенсилы позволяют быстро чертить фасады телекоммуникационных шкафов. Выбор параметров шкафов и устанввливаемого в них оборудования (высота, ширина) доступен из стандартного набора значений. Есть возможность использования нестандартных размеров оборудования. Интересна возможность выбора точек крепления фасадов коммутаторов и серверов в зависимости от конструкций выбранных в проекте телекоммуникационных стоек. Показанные стэнсилы удобно применять вместе с оформлением чертежей по требованиям ГОСТ 21.1101-2013 для комплектов рабочих чертежей при проектировании телекоммуникационных систем связи, АТС,, вычислительных центров и центров обработки данных (ЦОД). Не показана возможность масштабирования чертежей шкафов и не сразу понятны все возможности стенсилов по выбору параметров элементов чертежа. Приходится смотреть несколько раз.

Hi, what kind of stencils do you mean? And which colors you want to use: RGB or default Visio colors?

May be i dont understand your queastion. My shapes have fixed size i mention users would use it in page size A4 or A3

Surrogate I than you for your answer. I am using an A3 sheet, but the rack could be bigger so it fills the entire page when printed. I tried changing the page scale but it does nothing (it works with other rack shapes).

@@surrogate-tm I'm doing it by right clicking on the page, via the change settings menu. I am setting a scale of 2:1 (for example) and every shape on the sheet gets bigger, but the rack doesn't. If I try to insert another rack, before placing it, with the mouse button pressed but before releasing it, I can see the shape is bigger, but when it is finally placed, the size is the same as before.

@@danielvick4778 Try open Rack's ShapeSheet window, and change value in cell User.Scale. 2*ThePage!DrawingScale/ThePage!PageScale instead ThePage!DrawingScale/ThePage!PageScale

Hey Guys i created the Custom stencils in visio via pencils and arc tool, while i am reduce the shape size the stroke is increasing, is there any option to scale the stroke as well as please let me know, or please suggest me the how to create the custom big stencils for different sizes
