99% the Motion control and the servo drive will be the same brand. The key reason is the communication fieldbus protocol as well as the telegram. If you do have to cross the brand, most common way is to use analog output to control the drive speed and read the encoder use the encoder module.

Is it possible to use s7-1200 cpu instead of s7-1500 cpu's? and as well as to use stepper motor rather than servo motor?

They can be installed together. You'd better install from the lower version V12 to V17 higher version one by one. It is not recommended to install multiple versions of WinCC Professional in one system. Regular Step7 and WinCC advanced should be no issue.

Are you using Siemens S7-1500? I guess you are using S7-1200.

Are you using S7-1500 PLC? Which revision of TIA Portal are you using? I assume you are using S7-1200 PLC or old revision of TIA, they don't support virtual axis.

Simotion is different system comparing with T-CPU or S7-1500T. In TIA Portal, power up a Axis need to use "MC_Power"

@@EngOmar-kz9qv No, sorry, MC_Power is used to power up axis. For the Smart Line Infeed enable, maybe search "xx Infeed xx" FB, the "Linemodule" may be changed to "infeed"
