Fantastic detail, only one thing though, the floors were not cobbled stones, neither were the walls- they were composed of megalithic, perfectly cut stones with weathering in places of exposure, and some fractured due to geological shifting, then was added the intricate carvings. But carry on- this is the best illustrations I've ever seen on this pivotal story. Science Fiction is an excellent reading past time.

14:30 I always interpreted this part of the story as basically the compromise that the Elder Things made with the Shoggoth. After the Elder Things subdued the Shoggoth in the first war, they made a deal with them where they won't beam their thoughts into the Shoggoths minds and move them like automatons any longer, they would just speak their commands and the Shoggoth would just obey and execute them. I don't have any proof of this, it just seems reasonable to infer based on the context.

Bloodborne was my gateway into Lovecraft's work. I had always heard of Cthulhu before but I had no idea that the mythos was THIS good. I can't stop researching and gaining "insight" 🐙

These are, themselves, as outstanding a joining and creation as the original books and reading are independently. When will the remainder be completed? Any plans to release them all as a single "film" if you will?
