I have 2 CF Motos, a Polaris and a Harley and the left hand brake has never been an issue. Didn’t take but minutes for it to become a natural motion on the CF Motos.

The main complaint I had with the stock CF Moto Setup (I have the CFORCE 600 Tour) is that the right hand brake actuates the front brakes (standard ATV setup) but the foot brake actuates all 4 brakes (front and rear axles). Other ATVs I've always had were right hand brake = front, left hand = rear axle, and foot = rear axle. Having independent braking for the axles is a real benefit for traversing many different terrains in my experience. Not a big fan of the CFORCE foot brake actuating both front and rear but I've not gotten myself into any real sticky situations with it, in my 40s now and my riding style is fairly mundane compared to my 20s :). Been a fan and subscriber for about 2 years! Appreciate your hustle and content.

i was told by my dealer that the hand brake will squeeze all four calipers. i soon noticed that wasnt the case after lifting the rear of the quad and applying the front brakes. I was unsure if the foot brake only was the back wheels but from what you said, it presses all four calipers? its also strange because that means the parking brake (hand brake) only locks the front wheels. also, that makes skidding pretty much un-doable. definitely weird

@@AdamEdward Yes sir, foot = all 4 brakes. (at least on my 2020 CForce 600) Which I am betting you know that with engine braking and pressing the foot brake with any authority on a dry, hard surface will nearly toss you over the front! Got a lot of stopping power but I think most ATV riders prefer having independent control over front and rear braking. Otherwise the CFMotos, I think, are a great machine and unbeatable value when compared to the other manufactures.

@@joshwilliams9122 i have the cforce 1000 and thats a heavy machine. I dont have many hours on the dirt yet but I usually stop with both the hand and foot brake especially with a passenger. It does have good stopping power thankfully. They should have just switched it to where the hand brake grabs all four and the foot brake just grabs the rear.

My owners manual says that the right hand brake engages all 4 brakes in the video it does look like only the front brakes engage

i relocated the red switch on the cforce 1000 to that spot but its all good because i dont mind having the brake on the right side at all 👍🏻

Blake is correct. I made this swap last fall before a "kit"was available on the wife's 2021, CF600 and on my 2021, 800XC. The cheap ones from EBay will leak in no time at all. I bought 2 Polaris brand master cylinders and they fit perfect, work perfect, no leaks. Be warned though. If you have mirrors it is a very tight fit and will take a little bit of modification to the bracket to fit as there is not enough room between the winch and switches.

I'm of the school of thought to keep it like majority of motorcycles. Front brake on the right, rear foot brake, and if you have to put something on the left it should be rear brake only. I think I saw some brand had front and rear on the same handle. That would drive me nuts.

Isnt it on the right side because the gear selector is on the left side. So you can hold the brake while changing gears? If your in a hill or so. On the atv's that has the gear selector on the right, they have the brake on the left? Am i wrong?

I bought the kit for overland and the brake line has to be completely rerouted. It’s 4” short. I can’t do it.

My 625 EPS is always difficult to apply the park brake lever. It takes two hands. The hand brake should be on the left!

I have a buddy who has a CF Moto and that right hand brake drives me nuts. It's an automatic reaction for me to reach for the left brake lever to stop and with the CF Moto it's not there. I don't see why they put it on the right

What about the brake light? Does it still work after the conversion when applying the brake? I ordered this and when I got it I noticed the handle has two prongs that something plugs into but there's nothing that actually plugs into it? So why does it even come on it?

What you are referring to is an external switch that is not used and yes the break lights will still work with the conversion kit

That´s weird man....my European CF625 (same as the 600) has a left handbrake stock, but it is configurated as a parking brake!!!
